Choose between various algorithms to train and validate regression models. After training multiple models, compare their validation errors side-by-side, and then choose the best model.
I used 5 data set with 1/2 common independent variable(s) to train the model and then used it to predict 6th set's response. It doesn't show good results. What might be the problem here? I assume the trained model is having different responses from the common independent variable(s). Can you suggest how to tackle the issue?
Hello, I've extract longitude and latitude from a GPS, when I plot on matlab i've got a massive points that seem's like that, and i don't know how can I filter all this values in order to increase the accuracy Thanks Anselm ;)
Hi, Thanks for the video, clear and helpful. One question: why do you have the "use parallel" option and i don't? Is there something I should download? PS: I have the latest matlab version.
Problem solved. Apparently the Parallel Computing toolbox is needed. Link below for details, pricing and free trial download it.mathworks.com/products/parallel-computing.html
Hi Jack. On my laptop I have a graphics card. With the parallel toolbox I am able to utilise the graphics card for faster execution time. Thanks Anselm
Hi Anselm, thanks for the specification. I've downloaded the toolbox. Though, it seems to me that I'm not using the gpu but more cores on my processor. Is there a way to use the gpu instead?
