This may well be my favorite moment in Messiah. But that voice. . .! She makes me want to cry. So exquisite.

Ah! I have a new favorite singer! Very few soloists sound good in BOTH pieces. You can always tell either their voice is too high for the first or too low for the second. She sounds superb in both!

I love one thing about this - sometimes this aria is sung by a mezzo in the first part. I just liked how she sounded really human there, maybe like a young girl, with some little imperfections, because it was a bit low for her, and then in the second part she finally had the absolute control over her beautiful voice and sounded like an angel. A really lovely performance!

The choir I sing in performs Part I of Messiah every year in late November. Typically, we divide this aria into two singers; an alto and a soprano. This lady has a fantastic cadence with her voice. Bravo!

Two voices normally sing this aria from the Messiha: mezzo-soprano and soprano. It also works like that. I like Regula Mühlemann from German-speaking Switzerland very much, she sings fantastically, but two voices are provided for the original.

Regula singing Handel's "He shall feed his flock" sounds like Heavenly Glory...WOW, the prima donna voice!

Bravissimo! Regula has a wonderful and beautiful voice. Writing as an Englishman, I should also stress that her English pronunciation is perfect. Any English person listening to this singing and not knowing the truth would assume that the singer was English.

Wow this is wonderful. I remember learning to sing the first part of this piece (and the recitative) years ago before my voice changed, but while it may have left my vocal range it has never left my mind. Beautiful piece and beautiful performance.

Beautiful singing - astounding in fact. English diction is amazing.. I think she must have been educated in the UK to achieve this level of pronunciation. As a Brit myself I heard not one imperfection in her English. I would love to hear this soprano in a live performance.

Wonderful, both parts of the aria usually done by soprano and alto (or treble and countertenor). Where's the "Rejoice Greatly," really want to hear that. This is a match of beautiful instrument and warm, intelligent artistry you don't always find any more.
