It isn’t that much different in general like… everyone tends to fight over something and imagining that you’re fighting over a PlayStation, Xbox or even having competition like this in Super Smash Bros, things are going to be intense; while being a punching bag (assuming if you’re either Amphimon or Diarbbitmon!!!) isn’t fun every single time, they have been going against powerful opponents lately and secondly, GulusGammamon/Regulusmon is my Digimon serotonin alongside Gammamon but poor Amphimon always gets “the” short end of the stick; sure it makes sense for Siriusmon to shove her out of the way because Regulusmon’s Genias specifically aiming for Siriusmon but she can’t catch a break whatsoever, wow!!! 💀🤡🤣🤣
but i didn’t understand, gulus said it was his body first, and I remembered that hokuto said that gammamon before was...I don't remember specifically how he described it, but basically he wasn't good, so that's what he meant? Gulus previously had the body of gammamon and then...? did he become good?
Kinda feels like whoever designed the gulusmon line was the guy who always had to have the strongest cards/toys etc and wouldnt settle for anything less

Edit: besides, let's not forget Kaiba did collect the best of the best cards, blue eyes was his favorite archetype but he also possesed several strong cards (some of them are even banned or nerfed nowadays).
The less we talk about Yu Gi Oh Arc V’s ending, the better and they had it much worse in comparison to this; sure the ending for Digimon Ghost Game was fairly rushed but at least it’s decently justifiable!!! (Arc V’s ending was kinda bs!!! 🤣🤣🤣)
@@jpblack2148 It'd explained that GRB, the infection that Regulusmon spreads, massively increases the power and fighting instincts of Digimon it infects, to the point of matching or surpassing the strength of a higher level digimon, and as the source of it, he naturally has that effect as well. Also because Bandai took too long to give the anime staff the information they needed, so they didn't have time to implement Arcturusmon without rushing even more than they already did lmao
I personally find it extremely hilarious how Hiro manipulated Regulusmon to synchronize with him in which what Regulusmon wanted but only to be completely backfired while getting bamboozled and played like a fiddle but jokingly aside, apart from Regulusmon himself, the separation was something I wasn’t expecting at all in which caught me off guard but it was my favorite scene throughout the episode and one of my favorite scenes/moments throughout the series mainly because like Hiro mentioned, Gammamon didn’t have enough power to break through and told Hiro via Digivice to let him know following by synchronizing with Regulusmon in order to give enough energy for Canoweissmon (Gammamon) to regain his body back; it was quite the gamble but definitely paid off; I will give Regulusmon a lot of credibility in terms of his battle style with redirection and defensive tactics against Amphimon and Diarbbitmon [Those two can’t catch a break, can they?!!! 🤡🤣], even giving poor Siriusmon the dount treatment, Regulusmon is very powerful but he only has himself to rely on unlike Hiro and Siriusmon who gained multiple allies throughout the entire series in which is something to take note of when approaching the final episode and I know that Arcturusmon is bound to appear in which I will assume will be even more terrifying to deal with it but oh boy, Regulusmon was really aggravated thanks to Hiro tricking him, I think I laughed endlessly for a while, lol!!! 💀🤡🤣🤣🤣

He always that type of villain that everyone wants to hang out every single time. I wished they were way more explanatory with every appearance regarding Gulusgammamon instead of just teasing like, I personally understand they wanted to slowly reveal the plot but if your plan was to do so then you should of done much better. Alongside the fact is that while I have protagonist bias towards Hiro and Gammamon since they’re my favorites, I would of like to see Hiro being way more reactive while having urgency and development, not to mention that at least try to aimlessly handling situations less often, not like that I personally don’t mind him doing that often but solely relying on it is a bit repetitive because Kiyoshiro and Ruli are just important as the others despite the fact I personally find them less likable. It always a lot of fun to hear of how Miyuki Sawashiro-san voices Gammamon and his evolutions, especially Gulusgammamon like, she’s no stranger to play villainous roles and she “really” did a job throughout the series which I highly praised in general!!! 🥵💖💕
The fact that even at being half the Digimon as he was before, he could still easily overpower everyone. And with the other half taking him out, it means it took himself to take him out.

I'm hyped to see how arcturusmon would turn out since I really like his design and it would be amazing see how the jogress would be possible now that their separated. Still, even if we're just stuck with regulusmon I love the idea of how the gulus line are ridiculously more powerful than the "normal" line considering how it implies that the gulus line was the original gammamon evolution line before whatever happened that changed it which was an amazing twist on the dark evolution trope which was getting stale at that point.
I seriously hope that we get a follow-up movie at some point with Arcturusmon and Proximamon, maybe fighting the Endbringer if that's an actual thing and not something that GulusGammamon just made up completely on the spot lmao
This is the giant monster i need, sinister, cunning and formidable. i even end up cheering on Regulusmon despite he "Siriusly" damaged Siriusmon (yeah..pun intended)
Its funny how Amphimon gets the short stick everytime she fights. She takes a backseat after firing some water streams at Regulus while Sirius and Diarrbitmon double teams him getting up close. Then when she fails at attacking him up close having her leg stuck in Regulus grip, Diarrbitmon has to come and save her... Its like Piccolo and Krillin vs Nappa while Gohan cowards in fear. Amphimon has become a burden to the team she got Siriusmon into a Donuty situation
Even before they got their megas, they do get beaten every now and then; sure I don’t like them being punching bags every time but at the same exact time though, I find it very funny how trying to find different ways to screw Amphimon and Diarbbitmon over in a comedic fashion; it’s always poor Amphimon getting the short stick in every battle she participated in so far and it’s so saddening, lol!!! 🤡🤣🤣

In fairness, they were going against tougher opponents within the last batch; it doesn’t change the fact that Amphimon and Diarbbitmon were burdens every now and then like, even before then, Angoramon had “the” worst luck out of the three regardless of which form he takes on; it’s not like I want them to punching bags every time; don’t get me wrong considering that Siriusmon/Gammamon is my favorite out of three and I personally don’t mind him having the most fights but it would be nice for Amphimon and Diarbbitmon to get in on the action in which in circumstances I doubt it’s going to be likely at times given how we have yet to see Arcturusmon in which I know will be awesome to see but he’s not going to make things easier for Amphimon and Diarbbitmon, especially Amphimon being Data while Regulusmon/Arcturusmon being virus, it will be quite the challenge to overcome!!!

That's what I thought they were going for at first, in his few appearances he didn't seem evil but merely unforgiving to other digimon and viewed the world as a kill or be killed world. Especially when it came to that sniper digimon that only wanted a kill count, Gulus looked disgusted by it but also was seemingly trying to make a point to hiro that there are digimon that just do evil for the sake of it.

Lucemon FM and Arkadiamon Perfect are too and power scaling wise they are at least equal to Ultimate/Mega Regulusmon being GRB Digimon which makes it stronger than fellow Perfect Lv Digimon, makes it equal to Siriusmon power wise and theoretical Arcturusmon would top Siriusmon itself

It’s one of the rare instances of a Digimon at a lower level being on par and stronger than those higher level,the same thing was with Lucemon,who was a rookie,who took on Megas.Regulusmon and GulusGammamon are both just naturally that strong

Power levels like that are a rarity, but not unheard of in digimon. If you recall, Angemon and MagnaAngemon were both capable of fighting above their level. Regulusmon capable of fighting the others is not new or weird.

I now can tell you that if episode 67 is the last episode this series ending will be trainwreck. Seems that the arbitrator of the digital world, will most likely be the plot device to conclude this story if it ends on 67, by possibly pushing a button to rewrite everything by starting the series over.
He could of gotten out of the way but technically Gammamon/Siriusmon had never met GulusGammamon until now or saw his battling style, not to mention that GulusGammamon had always taken over control over Gammamon for the majority of the time until recently. I can see being a bit frustrating for some but in fairness, it’s not like Amphimon did much better and not like they can’t do anything because they can but they had really tough opponents lately and Regulusmon is no exception either. Regulusmon threm Amphimon into Siriusmon as a distraction. By the time Siriusmon separated from Amphimon, Regulusmon already finished charging and the attack was too fast for him to dodge.
So can I ask a question. This series is episodic. Meaning a monster week type thing. So heres my question where was the overall plot that led this. I know Gulusmon was a threat but was this the whole point of the series. Cause it feels like a let down. And yeah gulusmon was powerful but I just think a better story could have been made here. Am I wrong on this
I have to respectfully disagree on this because I honestly don’t mind the plot/story personally or being episodic, I just don’t like how they took so long to focus on it “now” and at the time episode 42 aired, the series composer was already working on the climax in advance and its unfair to call it a let down considering Ghost Game is more popular than some people realize but the pacing definitely needs work in the future considering it was a issue to some people!!! 🥺😠😤
Yeahh.... this is why I don't like the design for that GunBlade arms, like, it retract and protract(?) It's blade a bit slow and leaves a slight chance to get counter, hence why I wish it was designed like the GN Sword III or GN Sword Kai, that one can shift quickly from sword to gun in almost an instant.
I have to respectfully disagree mainly because I personally like the design for the Gunblade arms in which I am a big fan of but at the same time, I can understand why you dislike it but at the same time, my counter argument is they were arguably in a false sense of security and GulusGammamon/Regulusmon specializes in close ranged combat, so of course they never knew that Regulusmon was pretending to lose, I agree that it’s on the slow side because even in Episode 57, Siriusmon was struggling at first but at least you’re being honest and I respect your opinion, I just feel bad for Gammamon!!! 🥴🤤
It's 'imperfect' on purpose, because Gammamon's light forms are just imitating a fraction of what his dark forms can do. It's why his Adult forms all have different strengths and weaknesses, while Gulus Gammamon seemed to be great at everything. By direct comparison, Regulusmon's shield can bite at close range and shoot beams from a distance without having to change modes, while still tripling as a shield as well.
If they were actually that slow, they'd be too impractical. Plus this is Digimon, we started this episode off with like 5 minutes of stock evolution sequences. They slowed down the folding just for dramatic effect.

@@Thecolorgreen Siriusmon is the type who prefers to show mercy to any opponent. This wouldn't be a trait exclusive to Ghost Game's, it's a characteristic of the species as seen in the Reference Book. Seeing as how most of GulusGammamon's appearances had him saving Hiro and crew up until now and he's been a part of Gammamon since the beginning, he wouldn''t really be interested in killing him. Siriusmon also has his Planet Knuckle Attack which would contain his full power, but he's never shown that off since his gunblades haven't taken enough damage to shatter.
So that was what 3 mega level digimon getting bodied by an ultimate level digimon? (For those who don’t know mega level digimon are generally supposed to be stronger than ultimates.) Nice to know that digimon’s power scaling is still consistently inconsistent.
In fairness Gulus was already shown to be a much stronger than normal Champion level Digimon,like how Lucemon is a Rookie on par with Ultimates,makes sense for his other forms to also share high tier in power despite their levels

I dunno, I respect your opinion but I kindly disagree for the most part; for your information, I personally enjoyed the filler in which I personally wouldn’t call it “pointless” but I kinda agree that they should of shortened the amount of filler in half and shouldn’t have taken over sixty episodes approximately to focus on the plot, so I genuinely understand why some people would be frustrated in which that’s perfectly fine and all but I personally love the series a lot despite the issues, negativity is not going to stop me personally!!! 🥲
