Absolutely gorgeous. Love being able to see this. The recognition she gives the musician with just a smile is everything. Her voice and the violin...a dance. Chills.

Absolutely Phenomenal, I have chills running through my body when she sings with the lead violin, Amazing !!!

This music fits her voice like a glove. Such commitment is her landmark. Wonderful violin solo is a nice complement.

There exist a few versions with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf and Lotte Lehmann, I like especially Glenn Gould /Schwarzkopf. But Joyce DiDonato sings it so well and the violin without any disturbing vibrato.

Argh, why did they stop right before the "stumm werden wir uns in die Augen schauen" bit? That's one of pivotal moments. Still, DiDonato is great as always.

Wunderbare Stimmführung/Legato, aber eine verstärkte Arbeit an der deutschen Artikulation wäre gut, man versteht fast nichts, und das ist schade um das Gedicht. Siehe Meisterkurs Elisabeth Schwarzkopf an "Morgen". Siehe Arbeit von Fischer-Dieskau.

There are three contemporary conductors I dislike - Gilbert, Barenboim, and Nezet-Seguin. I don't know why - they are good conductors and great musicians but,... They make me nervous.
