I really appreciate ALL your videos and time you dedicate to offering reiki and educating people. It’s such a beautiful thing! Thank you Andrea. I am so pleased that you do not share the symbols on line like many other reiki healers do. I was taught that they are sacred and should not be shared and it saddens me to see the symbols being given out in that manner.
Thank you so much, Andrea! You are such a wise and reassuring guide. I’m gearing up to provide professional reiki sessions. I often feel uncertain about the quality or strength of my sessions and I find myself imagining or thinking the symbols over and over, trying to make sure the session is effective. I know this isn’t the best approach 😂. When is enough enough and how do I gain confidence in simply reiki plus symbols as appropriate without grilling my clients for feedback after 😅 thank you!!

Andrea, I have a question. There are slight differences on how to draw the symbol hon sha ze sho nen. Yet, all of them are called hon sha ze sho nen. The question is: since this symbol is a kanji, which means that every drawing has its own way to be pronounced, why are all symbols sharing the same name? It's as if I create a symbol that is drawn as LOVE and someone else draws it as LIGHT yet we both pronounce it as 'ləv (that is the phonetic alphabet which shows you a word is pronounced). So if the drawing of HSZSN changes it will either depict a different japanese character, so it will be pronounced differently, or it will depict lines that don't form any known japanese character (character = letter), so it will be simply writter wrongly. Either way it will not be pronounced as HSZSN, unless it's being drawn with the correct japanese 'letters". So, which is the correct way to draw hszsn ?

Thanks for your series. I have a question. I am a highly sensitive person, with a delicate nervous system, intense emotions caused me health problems in the past. Is it save for me then to have a Reiki attunement in this case? In the other video you said that after attunements people have increased intuition, compassion, feeling oneness with others. Tbh I am already a bit energy sensitive, and I wouldn't want to feel more of other peoples energies, neither be even more sensitive or feel emotions even more. I received Reiki in the past and I felt fine, but I'd like to make sure doing a Reiki attunement is a right thing for me . I'd be grateful for your view about it, thank you.
I've been doing Reiki for 34 years and taught many students. The old Takata style attunements could be rather harsh and unforgiving, and being, myself, a sensitive person, they could be a bit difficult. However, I've now done Holy Fire Reiki, and the placements and ignitions are much gentler than the Takata style attunements. The HF placements meet you where you are, so no matter how sensitive to energy you are, they remain gentle. Also, one of the fundamental aspects of Reiki is that you don't take on other people's energies and problems when you treat them solely with Reiki. If you try to do other types of energy work, you might, but if you just stick to Reiki, you will never be burdened with the stuff that gets cleared from them. I can say that with confidence. Reiki energy always flows out, and with such strength, that nothing is brought back from the client through your energy field. Hope that helps.
