I'm guessing RU-vid has targeted ASMR videos with these ads since it is much more disruptive and people are less likely to be able to ignore them and hence more likely to purchase ad-free prime subscriptions. I wonder if ASMRtists have some legal standing, seeing as how loud ads in the middle of a video impact the quality of the video and the viewer's experience in a disproportionately negative way compared content that is not created for the express purpose of relaxation and stress relief.
