Ha ha I'm like Patrick's Mum , I wear things forever - till they fall apart , then I fix them and wear them some more. There is a self satisfied joy that comes out of being poor and having to make your clothes last for a long time . I used to be a luxury goods designer and worked with all the craziness of 90s over the top conspicuous consumption, I now work in my garage sewing together bits of scrap and am so happy by comparison
