The first time I listened to Ronnie, I was maybe... 15? His old band is part of the reason I even started listening to heavy metal in the first place. The fact he's still out there absolutely slaying the vocal game is insane to me. So it's for that reason, I am so stoked to be able to put out this reaction to his newer stuff. Falling in Reverse continues to ignite and evolve the part of the metal world my roots fall deeply into. It seriously is! You can tell how much they enjoy each other's company. The way they interact with each other. Will is all over the place and animated, and Elizabeth is more calm. It works so well.

I heard RR say that the piano solo was the same note for note as the guitar solo in the original version. And yes he is playing the piano. I would love to hear Will and Elizabeth react to the cover of Last Resort. I love watching you two together!!!💜💜💜

I feel like RR version of last resort is the adult version of the original. It hits differently and I think that has to do with relating to the original more when I was younger (teen angst sounding) vs RR version appeals more to my adult self and feelings and I love it.

That is 100% love like winter vibes. I can't believe I didn't clock that before! He annunciates almost everything... EXCEPT for when he still weverbewaiiitts. AFAIK Ronnie is actually playing the piano, but I know that Sean Rooney (a pianist) composed the arrangement for reimagined. ngl I found it easier to cry hearing "but within the expanse I finally see, a world without you isn't meant for me" live. The pain (no pun intended) just feels so real

You're right Sean Rooney composed it but Ronnie isn't actually playing the piano in the video. I learned this on piano and during the piano solo part he's clearly not playing the right notes (still looks cool). Everything you hear on the piano is 100% Sean Rooney playing. He has a RU-vid video where he shows the original piano track used for the song.

I’m no singer or expert on music but I’ve been a little metalhead since I was six years old (my family always played gospel music but I discovered Alice Cooper when I was six & that set me off down the path of rock & metal). I’ve always been “different” & music speaks for me. It somehow says the words I can’t seem to put together. You can always tell my mood by the music I’m listening to. This is such a beautiful song & really hits home with me. I’ve always loved music but since I started watching Elizabeth’s vids, I appreciate it even more now cuz she explains the techniques in a way someone like me can understand 🤟😎🤟

Ronnie is not playing piano on the recording. It's actually a very talented pianist and composer named Sean Rooney. Look him up on RU-vid. He also did the I'm not a Vampire revamped song and the reimagined Last Resort cover by Falling in Reverse.

Falling in reverse is probably my favorite band they are so dynamic and have so many different styles I was lucky enough to see them in a tiny venue when they put their first album out and still to this day am so amazed at how big they are an got to see them when nobody knew about them

Elizabeth mentioned it earlier in the song but i feel like the shifting of the reverb size during the screams at the end was truly legendary, especially when the music was huge sounding but ronnie's space ends up collapsing in to sound like he's there alone in a tiny room right next to you while he's saying "can't you", before it explodes out to being huge again. You rarely hear reverb used as an instrument but they really nailed it here.
