@cruhstin I 100% agree with him, your visual storytelling is great. I love your use of different types of humor as a sort of greese for the flow of the video, without ever distracting from the topic. Also, that shot you used to demonstrate that a low parry is universal was INCREDIBLE and all this with it being one of the most concise but indepth videos ever, it not only taught me the info but how to remember it too

Using different sounds for the different inputs to support when to input what at what rhythm is really smart. Add the solid presentation, masterful editing and the silky smooth voice and you know this channel is going places. Subbed and liked.

great video. quick technical thing on the +10 after the punch parry for those who are confused why you can get up to 13f punishes. the frame data display shows +10 because it assumes you are going into stance, and in this particular instance you can't actually even do a move out of your crouch dash for a few frames, which is why you may notice reina has to slide forward a bit before you can even use a move. the stance cancel completely circumvents all of this and allows you act immediately after the cancel. this is actually the only instance i'm aware of where stance canceling lets you avoid a stance transition that has a few frames where you can't act, effectively allowing you to get even better frame advantage than you normally would by canceling. would be interested to know if anyone is aware of any other move like this in tekken.

You sir, are the goat. This is one of a handful of actually helpful Reina vids I've seen. Just got her to Garyu, I'm a Tekken beginner and have been struggling with air combos and defense a lot, but recently started using counterhit grabs as defense and light mixup pressure as well. I like to use 1+3 grab as a counterhit and as a follow up to 1,1. Then when they start breaking the post 1,1 grab I start doing 1,1,2, 1+2 (if in heat mostly) and then a mixup from HW. I've found that ff2, 1+2 is also decent while in heat if you don't immediately go into the next attack and let HW cook for a couple frames
Really well edited and super informative guide! As a newish tekken player, I find it way more digestible compared to other guides that typically race through the inputs without as much explanation. Hope to see more guides soon!

I was a Heihachi main in T7 and refused to play Reina in T8. I became Tekken King with Kuma instead… … but maybe I’ll finally give her a shot. This video is beyond words. Keep up the good work!!

one instance fuguteki could be a better duck than duck itself is, you can buffer in QCF or QCf,U after fuguteki and you can sidestep / walk in both directions out of crouch. im not good enough to say how good that is but i thougt i mention it here for the ppl trying to learn reina
F1+2 alone is a bad option since it's punishable on block. F1+2, uf3 is a better conditioning option in that case since it has better range and leaves you in plus on block!!
