Can't wait to get started on Friday! I rolled a two and decided on any book that was either 200-250 pages long, just to get a little more variety. It's ambitious, but I am hoping to read all of them. I won't be able to sleigh it because I have a hard time listening to audiobooks, for some reason I can't focus and ebooks, well, it's just a choice that I prefer physical books, but I did read a couple of books as ebooks and it just felt odd to me. No disrespect to anyone who can listen to audiobooks or read ebooks, just think it's awesome there are so many formats on which anyone can read a book these days. I'm jealous of everyone that is able to strategically plan a TBR for this readathon. I'm a mood reader and all the books I want to read right now are either 500+ pages or won't fit into prompts I have left 😂

Even though you rolled a six, the book you chose is pretty fast-paced. However, I would not advise reading it first. I ended up rolling a three (!!) and am reading "The Coworker," which is a super fast read. No one said you can't start reading early right? As long as you read some part of it in December....like the last page....

I will probably save it for closer to the end of the month so I can get some smaller reads done and feel accomplished. It is actually a rule that the books must be started and finished in December in order for them to count towards prompt points.

I was expecting a 6 when I did the roll, but I got a 1 (and that was surprisingly harder than I thought it would be). Super excited for the readathon!! 🎄🎄🎁

A 1 should make it pretty easy. You just need to read a book with at least 100 pages but it can be anything more than that so like a 500 page book would work! Hope that makes sense.

@BreakevenBooks I read a lot of fantasy, so finding something on my shelves that was under 200 pages was my biggest challenge! I managed though and am excited with what I chose - Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire.
