This piece has been a longtime fascination for me. It takes countless hearings to take it all in, which I think I finally am. This is a most solid and heart felt performance. Bravo! I particularly appreciate that the poster took the laborious time to include the massive score, so we can all sing along. This effort was true "social work." Bless you!
I must say, this recording definitely exemplifies the stellar standard of orchestral playing in the United States. This is a wonderfully played performance by an orchestra that isn't even considered a top-20 in the country.
