It could’ve been approved if you say you’re gonna stay for a night there. Btw, Malaysian Ringgit is accepted on the borders and surrounding areas usually. You can use it in Southern Thailand, Southern Philippines, parts of Kalimantan that border Malaysia, Sumatra especially Riau, Aceh, and Batam, and interestingly, you can use it in Vietnam too! RM76 (CN$22) is quite a bargain for a plate full of duck. Duck is pretty expensive. you’d only get 2 bland meals in UK for that price.
My guess is that they didn't apply for entry via online. My Indonesia friend in Kalimantan, who frequent visiting Sarawak before Covid, told me last March that the Indonesian government will open the border on 1st April but foreigners have to fill an online questionnaire with an attachment of their vaccine dos and their passport.
As usual for xxxx officer, no mxnxy(fxlus) in the passport, means no entry. My assumption only and not related to anybody in this planet earth, valid in planet Jupiter far away from earth.

Great video guys. This is what I call 'frontieraphilia' - a love of land borders. They're always exciting and unpredictable. Soldiers, uniforms, chaos. What is there not to love about a land border crossing? I love the idea of peeing meaning you've been to a country. Could be tricky visiting the Vatican City. Is there a public toilet in the Sistine Chapel?

My male uni friends used to compare notes with each other back then to see who had left a “present” at every faculty’s loo. It had to be a “present”. A pee wasn’t accepted. 😂😂😂

Duck noodles is a variation of kolo mee, the noodles with braised five-spice duck, a specialty at some small towns between Kuching and Sibu! The shop you all went to at Sungai Tenggang is the best in Sarawak.
Explore java indonesia...... by train... starting from jakarta - Bandung - yogyakarta - Malang - surabaya...... many amazing places 👉👉 white crater , mount bromo, borobudur temple , ijen crater .. etc
i think this is the same entrance i went back in 2018 . the indonesia post is entikong right? i did a solo trip from kuching to pontianak back in july 2018. it was a back to back journey from kl to brunei to miri to kuching to pontianak to kuching and back to kl. from kuching i travelled by bus all by myself . although it was a long hour journey (8 hrs to be exact) i really enjoy it because it was my first tike going to indonesia. i really have a nice time at pontianak. such a vibrant and busy city.
Nevermind lah, denied entry this time. At least, you guys managed to cross the Malaysia - lndonesia border...means you have stepped on lndonesian soil, drank lndonesian tea, have selfies with some lndonesians and the best of the best was Steve and Mike left their pee in lndonesian toilet 😂🤣 A great experience indeed !!! Yummy noodles with duck...duck is pricey !!
Duck mee is about 20 ringgit for one serving (a smallish one) in the Klang Valley here, so you wasn't robbed, warriors. The Teochew pak lo duck, I mean. I just checked.
Duck is literally expensive. In Kuching, 1 while roasted duck usually cost around RM75 to RM90. So for your meal of 1 whole duck + noodles + drinks + desert (?) = RM76 is actually really cheap.

Techinically, you’ve not been to Kalimantan Indonesia. No Man’s land between borders. If you had crossed to Indonesia and came back with an entry + exit Indonesian Stamp Chop, you’ll get that new 90 Days. But Ivana could’ve just gone over with an Indonesian Passport, have Mee Ayam and Bakso, Teh Botol and come back with a new 90 Days Visa. Get well soon irreplaceable Visa-On-Arrival Cashier guy!
I tot Bxstxn Sebok and some Indonesia vloggers said that Indonesia can be entered without documents. They are very friendly nation, no corruption, holly country in the world. My 2 cent opinion and no related to other persons' opinion. No need and be upset about.
well there is no country in the world that can be entered without passport. Visa-Free travel to Indonesia only applies for ASEAN passports. Not the whole world passports. Anyone who enters any countries should have done some research before travel Though it is kinda bad working ethics of the Visa-on-Arrival guys who call in sick without assigning any replacement.

Expensive???? They charged foriengner more as usual.but when it scrolled back n saw that you guys are enjoying a plate of duck Palo that 70 Plus rgt for is worth the meal. Duck heret are expensive guys.. I bought a Frozen raw duck few month back for 38rm. .enjoy your stay in Sarawak.
I’m Malaysian and I tried doing the exact same thing as you. I was traveling with another Malaysian, a Singaporean and Vietnamese. We were also turned back at the Indonesian side and Malaysia exit stamp voided. I’ve been back since on an express bus to Pontianak. There’s really nothing you can get to on foot right across the border anyways…

@@JetLagWarriors One stop before you arrive Miri is stop at Niah Cave. It's about 2 hours or less before arriving in Miri. It is a limestone and archeological site.
Malaysian can cross to n fro into the thailand border easily everyday. I've never heard of problem like this with thai border. Eh well. Do you wanna try the brunei border on foot next? 😁
I never been to Malaysia-Indonesia at Tebedu before, but I've been to the border entrance at Biawak, near Lundu, which is just south of Kuching. Visited my Indonesian friends' hometown Sambas. If no problem come, I'll probably going there again by the end of this year. 6:13 Steve, you just jinxed it by leaving the Rupiah in the car. That's why you guys cannot enter Indonesia. 🤣🤣🤣 14:40 Indonesia have 3 time zones, and West Kalimantan(where you guys entered) is in West Indonesia time zone (GMT+7). Technically West Malaysia and western half of Sarawak(Kuching-Sibu) should use GMT+7 as well, but the government decided to use only single time zone, GMT+8, which is Sabah's actual time.
The officer was on sick leave for that important duty? Even if you are the bank officer, i think the bank can easily get a relief officer on the spot. But we are talking about a country entry point and there is no replacement or relief immigration officer for that ? Totally speechless and unthinkable..haha
@Anwarul Adzizi Due to pandemic policies, 72 countries (including Canada, Romania, and Germany) are eligible for Visa on Arrival (VoA) to enter Indonesia. Malaysia and the majority of ASEAN countries are granted Free Visa/Visa Exemption. You can only enter certain air and land border entries, Entikong is one of them.
Just go to Brunei, Thailand and Singapore to reset your visa then. But hey, 3 months is a good amount of time to enjoy. Have a safe and enjoyable journey, you folks.
I don't think you need a visa to enter Indonesia, it's basically visa free for almost all countries except for Afghanistan, Nigeria and countries like that.
