Reks the underground goat. I hope one day i can see him live. There arent many artists i NEED to see live but reks been one of my favs for more then a decade. Keep rocking mah g.
Awesome. I actually performed at the same venue Reks did like 10 years ago in Meyrin, Switzerland and this man still be banging tunes!! Respect!!! It was King Magnetic, GQ Nothing, Reks and my boy Jace Abstract and I (Mathz).
Its really sad that artists like Reks dont get the recognition they deserve, this right here is the real hip hop and not that gucci gucci bullshit. Salut from Prague !
I know this is two years old, but Reks couldn't get the recognition he deserves because Reks doesn't make music for everyone. We all should all be humble, but just reading your comment, I already know you are a person who looks at life and reflects at a higher level. You pay attention to the small details, the things people often overlook. Prague is beautiful, isn't that the home of the death elevator? I know no one ever died, that's some pretty cool stuff bro. Anyways, Reks may not have recognition or money on a scale he deserves, but I can bet you, he's not sweating it too much either. He's still going to go down as a legend, I don't even know if he knows, but literally even at the point he is - his music will never fade into obscurity. What is sad and Reks may be long gone before they catch on, but they will absolutely catch on. It's kind of like when Sean Price died, no one knew about him except people like us. But it mattered to Eminem and the big names, and I'm sure the same will be for Reks. This is why it's important we tell the people with us now how much we love them, it's always after, it shouldn't be like that.
Dope! Love this concept. GZA has a similar track and so does Pharoahe. This is a nice addition. Big love & respect from Geneva, Captains Of The Imagination crew
Shout out to REKS. He's the homie. I did a set with him and others on the radio and he proceeded to beat the fuck out of everyone one of my beats. Good dude. Local legend in the Boston area. We chopped it up and I got my props but I never got a chance to work with him otherwise. Shout out to Wreckshop Movement, Overdog Radio and Champ Chuck!
