Even other actor actresses get procedures done . But they act well. If the cosmetic surgery is going to be a problem, then she should have waited for some other project. We pay money to see good movies and acting ...not some mediocrity.... Even her eyes didn't convey any expression!!! Cosmetic procedures are not an excuse.she got so much screen time also. Is she doing this for free????

I don’t think it’s the plastic surgery as some people say because she looks the same in Heeramandi just more makeup and different hair but it’s provably how SLB wanted her to act (kinda like Mastani or Padmaavati) but she failed to do it

No SLB didn’t ask her to be less expressive. I saw an interview of one of the male character of the series, he was asked about Sharmin’s acting, and he said that he remembered SLB saying to her to stop acting with her mind but to act with her heart and to be more emotional and expressive. So it’s just that she is really bad at acting
Listen up guys...her character was like that, and SLB asked her to be naive and kinda mute person who doesn't show her inner self.. expression were flattened due to the director demand. I think she did decent in heeramandi

People who are criticizing her in Heeramandi for her expressions. I think she did exactly what was needed for the character. I enjoyed her innocence in Heeramandi. Every innocent teenage girl behaves like that.
Usse hum a kiya matlab. We paid for netflix. Ultimately for heeramandi. This 18 years old mature lady destroyed the essence of the entire series. Every time flat robotic face with no eye blinking
Yall need to stop complaining about her role in Heeramandin as if any of you would have had a chance to even step on that stage as even a backup rioter getting their ass beat by the police 😂😂😂 She did alamzeb perfectly. At first I agreed with the popular opinion but my own WHITE husband who doesn’t speak any desi languages explained it to me and it clicked. She didn’t want to be a tawaiff, let alone act like one. Her character expressed her emotions through poetry. That’s why she wasn’t as dramatic, angry, revengeful nor ecstatic. That was a part of her character. So she fulfilled Alamzeb with a lot of justice. She said her character was nothing like her in real life so it must have been so difficult so I think she did amazing due to her characters emotional limitations that were intentionally executed the way she did. She did phenomenal!!!
Now I know it's not her fault in heeramandii it's the directors fault may she done here role exactly as the director said that's why same reactions everywhere...
Actually i think botox was a part of it but mostly she was going for a faraway look as she said but couldn't really practice enough or didn't realize she wasn't doing what she intended. usually this is corrected by the people around that person and the director. It takes years of doing bad work, small roles, theatre and others to nail that one big role. But because of privlege she didn't get that opportunity to hone her craft before coming to the limelight. that is what went wrong
