So many young people want to know if dating in high school is a good idea, but the real question to ask yourself is WHY do you want to be in a relationship! I'm in a long distance relationship and I often get anxious it won't work out or that we don't know each other well enough... but this really helped me realise that it's okay that (teenage) love isn't always perfect or will work out, thanks a lot

I've been in a relationship with my current girlfriend for 1 and something months, we were really good friends for about a year and a half before this and I had no thought about dating her because of thinking she was out of my league and she was really fucking popular and also because I was loyal to my friend who liked her, but after he got rejected by her I still didn't want to push for it out of respect. İt was my class that kinda pushed me into realising how much I like her. Still to this day I feel disloyal for going out with her because of my mate. People are always confused why a girl like her is going out with me but then they meet me and they just change attitudes

The first tip about 'you dont have to date' as soon as i realised this i got a boyfriend and it has so far been the best relationship in my life. My boyfriend and i both weren't looking for a relationship at that point but it just happened naturally.

I’ve been in a 6 year relationship since 1st grade and she moved in 3rd grade and finally moved back so if your in a long distance relationship don’t think it’s not possible

Yup even tho my relationship is cute and strong and I love my bf sm and he loves me very much and he has adhd so he makes it fun and energetic and I have ptsd and trust issues and he knows and he follows by how I feel❤

@initialsgalore OH my.... my relationship broke up like that too! but not quite intense with losing trust, I found her being close with friends that are boys, and I was quite upset by it which apparently affected her and I ended up saying words I didn't mean to say... now, me and my ex are on a break but remain as friends, and we hope to come back again if that happens. if not, it is what it is, just how life is. But I'm glad your doing well, breaking up is a good choice even if u momentarily regret it, u must know that the most important person to you is yourself.

I just got into a relationship. I was asked out by a boy I’ve known for about 4 years and liked multiple times, and we’re dating now, I just need it to be validated I guess? Because I have no reason to be dating him, I just am because I like him, but I also have never dated before and I thought now would be a great time to learn and try it out. Don’t get me wrong, I like him, I just have no reason to date yk? I hope that doesn’t make me seem shallow, I’m not dating him just for the experience, I just again, have no real reason to be in this relationship right now 🤷‍♀️

I have this co worker at my job who's a Jehovah's Witness she has a teenage daughter that my co worker doesn't let her date at all because Jehovah's Witnesses don't let teenagers date at all because they think that teenagers are too young to be dating because Jehovah's Witnesses they view dating is when a person wants to select a marriage mate and they're ready for marriage
