I learned that when my dogs are playing with each other that is not actual exercise. Also, learning about the agreement thing with animals was helpful.

This makes so much sense! I loved the demonstration with the llama. I have a horse that I rescued and it's been a journey for myself that's for sure. Hes very old and was abused I've had him for 2 years now and it is very hard for me to gain his trust. Unknowingly to me I've been acting too much like a predator when I approach him. You have such a wealth of knowledge it's insane! I'm so glad you started back up with youtube! Your ranch is absolutely gorgeous, most certainly a dream place I bet it's even more stunning in person! Cesar, your analogies are so spot on! I always learn something when I watch your shows or your videos. The analogy with the airline pilot you want to fly the plane and what your dog wants in its owner (calm, confident and a pack leader) is fantastic. I love when you are in a teaching mode, Cesar.

I wish this had more views as soon as it came out. My dog doesn't have issues because i do what you do for a living but at a lower degree because i am young but it is still very good to know and learb from the top dog! You have and continue to impact my life in a great way. Thank you!

That was a great example about being in a plane. If you see that your pilot is nervous you're going to be nervous too, but a calm pilot will help you be calm...and thats how your dog sees you as the leader.

I get that calmness with my horses. My anxiety will be reflected back from the horses like a mirror, but instead I can take in their calmness and reflect that back. It helps me to recognize my emotional state and find the calm and peace with them. I will try speaking out my intention to be calm.

Im forever gratefull for youre advice. Thanks to you i have become a dogwalker ( non profit , walk dogs for people who cant walk there dog so much or for cancer patients in chemotherapy) and doggysitter ( neighbours who go on holyday also non profit ) Raised my dog Hideto from the start youre way, Hide was born in my hands. Hide's best friend is a black swan at the pettingzoo. She is a disabled swan. He is the most calm, cool dog ever, but commands in Japanese. Again many thanks from Hide and me .

Their is no man how needed a day with Cesar than this man child. If you have ever watched this guys content its horrible loud unthinking garbage. Cesar has the opposite content its thoughtful and full of intelligent and creative information. Guava has content with the only thoughtful thing is the click baiting.

I too love your videos. I live in France and have a VERY dog agressive GSD of 8 although he acts like and plays like a puppy most of the time. He has "escaped' my home and attacked other dogs in their homes, even a bitch Australian shepherd. When I walk him, he just looks for other dogs to attack. Although I live in the country and most of the dogs live behind fences or walls. I've bred and raised rotties, done French ring sport with them and started with Gabe, my GSD; Unfortunately I fractured my shoulder and dislocated it so I had to stop. I'm 74. Thank you for all your videos and also any help you might have to offer; Bless you and all you love.

Great information Cesar, I understand that mind. body difference. My daughter has a pug that is so anxious when people leave the house or someone comes down their street. If I have this correct if he has been exercised enough that he is physically tired, then put him in that situation, you can work with his mind to let him know that he doesn’t need to run around crazy he is safe. Is that sort of what you mean?

I learned that exercise is vital to your pets mental and physical health. But what if your pet can't exercise due to physical ailments. Our dog has arthritis and at times he can hardly walk. His sister passed a couple of years ago and he developed separation anxiety. He howls and paces in the house when we leave. (I set up a camera). We leave him with a Kong, have a thunder shirt on him but by the time we get home he has himself worked up to a frenzy. We are retired so he doesn't spend more than 4-5 hours alone once a week. I've even thought of putting in a lap pool so he can get more exercise that he can do. Expensive solution though.

Hi Cesar, any tips or suggestions to exercise a dog with a heart condition? I've recently moved to a new house and since then, my dogs have started to show anxiety and excessive barking. I walked them 20 minutes daily since they are not supposed to get exhaused. I really appreciate your insight... :)

Hi Cesar I have a question I currently live in Texas and summers here are brutal the temperature is most of the time 98 to 105 ,before I used to live in NJ is a big change of temperature here, I have a 2 year old lab/pitbull mix my question is how long can I walk my dog in this kind of weather? I'm afraid is too hot and humid and I don't want to overheat my dog ? Thank you I will really appreciate your advice.

A parte de eso ella es una perrita feliz con 11 años .
