I disagree with the notion that every guy is a playa. Right or wrong; for better or worse; I was the guy that looked for the long term in all my relationships. I ended up in two divorces. However.....after those 2 fails, I decided to just take life how it come. 16 years ago, that method caused me to "stumble" into a relationship that no words can describe. It didn't fit any romantic fantasy notions. Neither I nor my wife can tell you how it the marriage talks went. In less than a years time, we went from dating, to living together, to being married. There was just a natural flow to it. 16 years later and I am still with the greatest treasure known to man. Did I mention that she's 14 years older than I? You'd never know it. We have enough differences and enough in common that we learn from each other, yet we share a lot of likes and hobbies together. She's my support, my strength, and my equal.

I find it strange seeing all these videos of women who can't get a guy to marry them. My experience has been the complete opposite where I'm the only always being pressure by guys to be in a serious relationship and get married. I make it clear I just want to date at the beginning and don't want to marry anyone ever and they seem to completely ignore this. 1-6 months in their pressuring me to live with them, talking about kids and I'm like what in the hell are you talking about? It's really put me off having flings and casual dating because guys oddly don't seem to be in to this? Unless I just happen to be attracted to the nice guys only who knows haha.
