@mosambis123 again, he's right. His take on terminologies is spot on. His answers would seem straight once the terminologies are properly defined. Most people don't know the real meaning of terminologies and also lack context. Hence, most of the debates here and in flesh are futile for exactly the same reason.

Host needs to learn not to interject and create more confusion by adding new terms to the discussion. Dr Zubair alhamdulillah knows very well how to make everyone understand what he understood. Dr Bilal masood, knows a lot but not well articulated. Not his problem but the host needs to make his ideas more clearler to common public. Clearly he was at a higher level. Need this discussion again at a level where the audience can understand his views better in the light of Quran.
People get confused between the word " theory" as spoken in common English vs as it is referred to in Science. In scientific reasoning, a hypothesis is constructed before any applicable research has been done. A theory, on the other hand, is supported by evidence. People who call themselves academics are confusing hypotheses and theory

It's a grave injustice to deem Mr. Sahil Adeem as "influenced by the West" & "using psychology to gather masses." His core message is Islam & he raises all questions on the basis of Islam. It's your inability to grasp the message which is creating confusion. He never insists that his interpretation is sourced from science & that's true. It's sourced from Quran & Hadith but explained in the light of currently available knowledge.
@@OmerWorld That's the thing about interpretations - They're inherently subjective. As far as citations are concerned, do you think our 'aslaf' understood wormholes, for example?!? Of course you won't get citations because nobody looked at those ayahs or ahadith a certain way. Do you really believe that the door to research on Quran is now closed forever?! I don't have a problem if anyone doesn't agree with his interpretations. I have a problem with shunning critical thinking altogether. I also have a problem with questioning the sincerity of a person who is employing critical thinking.
@@arworkid The basic problem is methodology, if you'll allow every tom dick and harry to interpret the scared scriptures according to his wishes then how would you stop the inflow of gravely wrong interpretations like claiming false prophethood etc, that very much tells the importance of a methodology, and Mr. Sahil unfortunately doesn't follow any, I have no problem with critical thinking but citations are important, if you overlook the method you're hitting the pebble on your own head.
