When HE said tonight you shall be with me in paradise ,that was GOD talking (spiritual utterance) The thief never went to heaven with Christ that night. Christ's resurrection was 3 days later and he never ascended until after that.and the thief couldn't go to heaven before Christ as is written : And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. John 3:13. The thief ask " REMEMBER ME. And the lion (GOD)replied . It was the memory of him that would be in heaven with GOD As is true for everyone .
