Can you talk about all of the support workers and the people behind the scenes of the team. I am talking about trainers, doctors, sport psychologist, grounds crew, anyone like that. How did they help you or your relationships with them, to play and improve your game. thanks.

The skill of remembering personal things people tell you is absolutely super valuable in ANY job and in life in general. It's so rare these days of Instagram and online communication that when you display it even a little bit, it is appreciated by everyone.

Thank you for confirming what I always suspected about Jim Riggleman’s personality. Goes to show why some managers are successful while others just kinda knock around gig to gig.

Yeah Matt would make a good coach. Just as an aside, probably the best manager in the MLB was the late Billy Martin. And although Martin (number 1 on his jersey!) had a reputation both as a boozer and a fighter he also had an uncany understanding of the game. RIGHT AS IT'S HAPPENING. Martin could tell if the centerfielder's shoes weren't laced tight enough. Meanwhile calling a suicide squeeze. Or a double steal. Martin had the best head for baseball of anyone. Including even his own mentor Casey Stengel. The funniest thing Billy Martin ever did was when his base runner Mickey Rivers was ruled out by the second base umpire for not stepping on 2nd base. Martin runs way out on the field and then yells at the ump like he's really angry but instead goes, "I know that Rivers missed second and I'm gonna fine him 500 bucks but we're on national television right now and we both gotta PRETEND that we're having a fight..." That really happened. Martin was not the jerk who people said he was. He was a great guy and baseball hasn't been the same since his untimely pssing.

He sounds like an amazing coach! As a manager in my office I have the same mindset: make them feel special, know I'm looking out for them, they can talk to me about anything, and that I'm trying to develop them and have them grow - even if it means leaving our department for another role. No need to be authoritative, cold, not communicating well. Be a leader for them, not a "boss"

Why can't I hit anymore, I used to always lead the league in hitting and home runs but now I really have a hard time hitting a ball squarely, What is the best drill or anything that can bring back the magic? Is hitting off of a tee really help at all? Did you ever play against or Meet Miggy Cabrera or face Verlander?

Can you do a video on pitchers throwing deliberately at batters. Who decides that...what are the causes...when is the appropriate time, etc. I hear it's "part of the game" but would love to hear how the process develops. Really enjoy you videos.
