So, why you don't use the bands percentage to calculate the absolute neutrophil count ( ANC ) ?? Dose the result will be same if we use your method ( in the video ) without the bands percentage ??

If a person doesn't have leukocytosis so wbc normal And a differential was made and showed lymphocytosis in both relative and absolute But All other wbcs did not change How can a relative count have just one change
this because lymphocytosis was absolute. relative increase in individual wbc, may happen either due to the decrease in number of one cell, so the other cell increase in number relatively, or due to the true increase in one cell type. the latter possibility will be associated with absolute increase. You should interpret your results based on absolute count.
