Interesting layout, and that is a relatively cheap price. Think cabinets and drawers seem poor quality and didn't notice any locks on them, might fly open when cornering tightly. .
There are locks on them! They will only fly off if you overload them and then try doing handbrake turns at high speed whilst descending down a mountain!
The overall of the vehicle looks quite attractive, however Rapido is a French production, not so sure about the quality of the materials used, The face to face seating area is for sure not my personal piece of cake, and as in all Rapidos this table is not centered in the leg, so if u fold the other half it’s not stable, (it’s somehow strange, why not put the leg in the center like all others do? Must be a French piece of mind😂) Would curious how many centimeters the GFK walls, roof and floor are, and the technics they use to build - I guess I read somewhere there is a warranty of only 5 years, where others give up to 11! (See Frankia) Also the price is relatively cheap (whatever this means) as there is Truma only no Alde, also if u start adding the stuff u really need (Lithium batteries, solar, boosters, inverter etc etc) all of a sudden this piece ist at almost 100 k, I guess the fresh water tank is just 100 liters, this is nothing if u want to be independent from camp sites for a week, Bottom line, as u said “relatively cheap”, and in the end it’s not, if one can put 100k on the table I rather look for the real thing, a one or two year old professional motor home, solidly build with all that’s needed (purchase price 160 k plus) and can drive this baby for 10 plus years without regret, can drive up to the Nordkap even in winter time, no worries, I would anyhow never buy a brand new one, let others take the hit of the first change of ownership that usually decreases the value by at least 25 to 35 %! But as I said, this my personal opinion, others might have a different one, that’s ok as otherwise the world would be very boring Warmest regards
@@VanlifewithAlan The bed bolts in, so unbolting then is a simple and quick process, surely someone must request this. Tidying up the resulting empty space should not be that hard to do, as a lot of these are hand built and not on a production line.
Hi Alan, very nice Motorhome, please advise if Sky would install a Satellite Dish and decoder for this Motorhome? If I was living in the Motorhome full time without a physical address would Sky give me a Contract, lastly can this Motorhome be purchased in the U.K. or would I have to travel to which ever Country manufactures it?
