@IJWHtv darn, that's super annoying. Pharmacy techs here are limited by medications we can recommend. I'm not sure if the US has the same classifications as NZ: General, Pharmacy only, Pharmacist only, and ofcourse prescription. We can only help with general and Pharmacy only medications, pharmacists have to consult and approve Pharmacist only medications. Though Pharmacy techs can tell customers about their prescription medications if they want more information if the doctor didn't seem thorough enough for them.

The stint of what a technician can do is basically tell a patient what their medication is for. Any other form of consulting has to be done through a pharmacist here in the US. It does become a hassle when there's only one pharmacist working

@IJWHtv I could imagine, that sounds incredibly annoying. Was planning to move to the U.S to live with my partner, but I want to job to feel not so restricted.
