It's beautiful!! That tip of twisting the hair for easier relaxer application is one of the best tips I've come across, it's super helpful when self relaxing. Great video 💜
I had a really good experience with the dark&lovely relaxer kit. I used the whole range and I only have good things to say about it! Which is crazy to me because before, when I was relaxed, my hair HATED dark&lovely. This time around it’s the only products that actually leaves my hair moisturised
Congratulations for your results! I have been watching some channels like hairlicious and ulovemegz. And I would like to say in other to preserve the crown area and the back area to start from the half top from the crown, because its the most sensitive and fragile area and the the first to be wash out.Half the hemisfere. Then your Mum works on the other half. Thanks for sharing with us. Ive been relaxing for almost 40 Years and I do concern about areata alopecia. Its always good to preserve those areas. Thanks
Wonderful results Dena. I personally did not like the Dark & Lovely relaxer. I used it in my last relaxer 3 weeks ago and it left my hair very dry, brittle and very under processed. I utilized the entire kit and it is a NO for me again.
Oh Noo, I'm so sorry you had that experience. It may be because I didn't use all the products 🤷🏾♀️ But the underprocessed but.. Hmmm. Which relaxer do your usually use?
@@DenaJ I usually use the ORS No Lye Relaxer, but because of the raving youtube reviews I decided to give the dark n lovely a try. My hair was so underprocessed and brittle that it almost immediately led to breakage for me. 😏😏 Still reeling from that experience.....🤦♀️🤦♀️
This video is definitely a sign I need to start self relaxing. My hair stylist is actually good but he is not punctual at all! I usually at the salon all day long! And I travel one hour to get my hair done. At this past weekend I was done! I had told him about my hair being under processed and he really didn’t even say anything besides he didn’t want to over process it and that was it. I’ve definitely learned my lesson and next time I am going to just relax my hair myself. Plus I’ll be save a lot of money in the long run.
Beautiful hair Dena, thick and healthy length, am always having this lito fear relaxing at home, but one day i will do it, i get annoyed when they pull my hair with small closely knit combs and rub towels in my hair at the saloon! Am happy for you and thumbs up to Mom!
@@DenaJ I finish with salon long time maybe just to get a trim, I don't need them in my hair, going to get one of the color treated neutralizing shampoo my kit one don't change color
It's just interesting to know that we take care of our hair for the majority of the time and then we entrust stylists 3-4 times a year to apply a relaxer.. And those 3-4 times can just counteract all the effort you've been putting in..
Just a tip for those who are going to use the Dark & Lovely relaxer. Skip the LAST product. In my opinion it’s horrible lol. I use my own leave in conditioner and my hair always feels phenomenal! Dark & Lovely is the only hair relaxer I use because my hair loves it. It just doesn’t love that LAST leave in product they provide. So I use my own leave on conditioner.
Just watching this. I didn't get the name of the product you used for managing your new growth to make it soft... please share the name of the product.
My hair isn't unhealthy either but I have uneven grow hair, on every relaxer day I have to cut it and I'm ok with that. I stopped wash and do my relaxer to the salon because my hair always feel so dry after taking care of my hair at home is better. I just go to salon for trim or cut my uneven grow.
