Visited the UK many years ago in April when it was supposed to be raining all the time. It scarcely rained at all. Loved it. And this was really only the London area; friends of mine who live elsewhere in the UK and often post about it on FB show me I have much yet to see there. Heck of a commute from Canada, but I would certainly visit again if the opportunity arose...
@@stevetournay6103 Exactly! It doesn't rain as much as people think and say, at least in London 💪 Shame that Canada is not exactly round the corner, but do come back at some point 😊
Ha ha, it must be fun to hike with you. I'm always glad when someone takes the lead. I'm a dreamer, I have a poor sense of direction.😂 I love the UK, although I've only been to London it's the country I feel most connected to. One day I would like to take a trip around Scotland, one of my sisters did it and she was absolutely thrilled. Until then, I'll keep watching Outlander and reading about Mary Stuart vs. Elizabeth I (I'm really into those lately).
@@patrik_wilhelm oh trust me: during those long walks I dream, too, about getting back home alive 😜🤣 Everyone loves Scotland so I have to make sure I go at some point, too. If you go before me, send me pictures! Look at you finding out all about the gossip at court! 🤫😜
...For some reason listening to Sam makes me think of the hilarious old Aardman Animation short "Creature Comforts", which is a series of claymation interviews with animals in a British zoo...
