Thank *you* for making this wonderful rendition! Like I've said before, I'm not a FFX fan (though I might've been swayed to give it another go). I love Uematsu, but this isn't even my favorite soundtrack of his. I was originally drawn to your channel by your rendition of Hero's Theme from FFT, which is one of my favorite games and soundtrack. Despite allllll that, this has quickly become my favorite thing you've produced, by a large margin. I don't know what it is about it, but it's endlessly listenable! 🤩

That's so lovely to hear, thank you!! I can't take too much credit, I truly do think the "listenability" you mentioned is just the nature of Uematsu's composition. Crazy good. Btw, do you have any other favorites from FFT? I still haven't played it so I'm not too familiar with the OST.

You're probably right, but in this particular case I've definitely found myself playing your version of this song more than the original. I like the FFX soundtrack, but never found myself playing songs from it on loop! Oh man, I think the whole soundtrack for FFT is amazing--and I don't mean that as a cop out! Even the music on the save screen is truly lovely. On the other end of the spectrum there are also songs called "The Pervert" and "Bloody Excrement" 😂 If I had to pick a favorite, it's probably "Apoplexy 2" (aka Apoplexy Variation), which isn't even on the soundtrack. I'm not sure how that would translate to harp... "Character Making" is a great one that might fit that better, as well as "Algus", though the character that song is named after is truly despised by fans of the game. To go on and on: A couple other big battle songs, "Antipyretic" and "Trisection", are also fantastic. "Tutorial", "Team Making", and "Commander in Training" are a couple lower key ones I love. "Pray" and "Ovelia's Worries" are a couple melancholy ones that stand out. The epilogue and credits songs are also standouts, both mixing some emotional ups and downs (though that might be tied to my experience with the game).

6 months later, I'm convinced that this could run on repeat for 10+ hours and not get old.

I guess it's a way of showing that Kimahri (who is perceived as a guardian watching over her, maybe even a father like figure for her) approves of the relationship. As far as i know in most asian culture it's a big thing for guardians or parents to accept their child's significant other.. But yes it was timed very poorly XD

Actually yes, I did do this because of your suggestion lol. I have a lot of loop-able tracks (well, due to the nature of VGM I guess) and spend too much time trying to decide which one to do next. So thank you for ending my decision constipation 💖💩 I've actually already decided though that You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet will be next lol. I saw a lot of comments requesting it, so the people's voices must be heard!
