I think that is typical Miyasaki. Also, I dont think The two in Spirited Away are meant to have feelings in a romantic way. But obviously Miyasaki puts in strong feelings into their storylines very effectively. Freinds can have strong feelings that stay at the level of deep freindship. :)
I met a man who I clicked with pretty instantly and later he told me about his love for Studio Ghibli movies. We wanted to watch one together but sadly it didn't work out. And now whenever I come across anything Ghibli related, I'm remembered of him, even though I've known Ghibli for far longer than I've known him. I wish we could have at least watched one movie together before parting ways.

One of the songs it brings back memories of my nan but sadly she passed away in 2010 December the 25 on Christmas Day and I was so looking forward to see my nan but my mother and farther has a call from my grandad saying nan is dead and I heard the news and I cried and I believe in spirits and I get these dreams of my nan and my mother and farther question there self how my nan died but I found out she died from her heart valves and I still get flash backs and its 7 years now that I still miss my nan but please give me a like it would help me and my grandad and the rest of my family the goodness of happiness. this reminds me of my very first Studio Ghibli movie i ever saw (it was Totoro.)it also reminds me of my dog and rats, but sadly they past away when i was 5. i still see their spirits though.
