It has been a while since the last video because of the other project. During this time, the data collection was still continuing at a bortle 9 sky. It took me a pretty long time (3 months) for me on observation of M87 and Markarian's Chain in Virgo due to the observation condition. The Markarian's chain in Virgo cluster is a very interesting deep sky object, it is not only because of chain of galaxies groups, but also because the fact that the Milky Way galaxy is actually rotating around one of the massive galaxy so called M87, or Virgo A. The core of the M87 composed of a massive black hole. This black hole is super unusual because of its weight, nearly equal to the entire M33 galaxy. From its relative traveling speed, it was believed that the galaxy together with other galaxy in virgo cluster is actually rotating around this black hole. That's why the famous and first black hole object from the Event Horizon Telescope was this target. After collecting 14 nights of data from the center of Tokyo (bortle 9), I stacked and process the images, and here is the result.

Good video as always! For background extraction and noise reduction it might be worth to try free "GraXpert". Problem for me is, Siril is often picking up faint nebulae while modeling the gradiant and then loosing information. Even when placing the samples super careful. I feel graXpert is doing a better job - also because it shows the background model and its easier to see if the background "includes" for example red color. Also the noise reduction looks a little more natural (still "rough" and not the super smooth plastic look). The rest I also process in Siril (:
