Impossible, no loot boxes , no day one patches, no predatory season passes, Physical ownership, and Soon actual human staff because AI hasn't been able to replace them with algorithms.
This little chain of comments sums up why I said fuck it and stick to the classics. Lmao, amazing games like subnautica exist. It's sequel proves just how rare they are. 😂
my game console messed a little bit after i got to snowy mountain but i loved that place cuz i love snow maps and all i used to do was run around and skate, i felt bad knowing jak would get irrepairable foot damage but who cares long as you're having fun right sadly i never stopped to enjoy the day and night cycle but i love snowy mountains so simple yet unique
This game will live forever inside my every part of my cell of my human body l! The best platformer the ps2 coulda' offer! Just 100% it for the first after playing it 17 years ago. Best thing i wanted my time into lol
When I was a kid, I would finish Jak 3 once a week for months. Before that I would play Jak 2 with my messed up memory card, never getting past the first Baron fight before going to bed. Before that, it was hours and hours of Precursor Legacy. I'm confident 99% of the contents of my dreams are inspired by this quadrilogy of games.
Always loved the pumping station loop in Jak 2, especially with the amazing dynamic soundtrack that updates based on the activity or if you're going on the jet board.
I was recently thinking of doing my own Jak ambience playlist. This one is awesome, with high-quality tracks and a dope selection of screenshots. Thank you!
such a hidden gem. wish more people would give attention to the series. 24 years rn played like 2-3k games and these series was one of my first with zelda and kingdom hearts. still love it so much
Playing this game for the first time was a happy memory I never want to forget. Laughing at daxters lines when I died, cheering Jak on to flirt with Kiera and telling daxters thirsty ass to back off 🤣... the sense of wonder, mystery, and adventure was just unlike any other game I played at that time... What's happened to you naughty dog? Where'd it all go wrong?
I’ll never forget hearing “The Fortress” track for the first time, perfect way to start off Jak II. It immersed me so much as a kid that I was scared for Jak even though I was the one controlling him lol
It's awesome, as not only do I love this game for the nostalgia, but also because the soundtracks are nice to use during a dnd session- I mean imagine using the Rock Village soundtrack in a swamp, or the Sandover Village in a druidic festival- pure gold!
Jak 1 was amazing, then Jak 2 and its weird jump into edgy dark Jak was a big ol whoa from kid me! XD I found the second to be so tough too! Thanks for the brill playlist, the music was super memorable for me. :D
Never played any games in this series and my knowledge is nonexistent: I bought the third game at a flea market in June and i've yet to play it, but i got this in my recommended and heard the first beats of that drum and damn i gotta get to it.
It is definitely partially the nostalgia talking here, but so many of these tracks are just packed with genuine emotion. Thanks for putting this together.
Now that you mention it, they sound very close. In a way it makes sense, that whole area of Jak II is the only one that has a similar environment to Precursor Legacy
