Great video. Spent many a year chasing Cod, Bass and Ray there with my late father and mates. I used to like 2hrs down 2 hours up with a light NW wind. Had a near record Spotted Ray and a double figure Bass in consecutive casts using Pout Fillets. Used to catch Turbot on occasions. I preferred slightly to the left, especially if fishing high water as sandier. Great days. Fish and Chips on the way to Dunster to fish high tide afterwards. I we were fortunate to have peeler crab on a good year we would have to fish one rod unable to fish two as Codling hitting baits almost immediately
Hello mate , my old man used to take me there when i was young , great days and much better fishing back then reading your txt bought back so many memories thanks for that , i still prefere to fish way down to the left , good to hear from you mate take care
hi ian , thanks mate , the rods are century fireblades 13ft not the gt ,, the reels are okuma surf 8k . fantastic rods and the reels well they are good fast winching reels . stay safe chap

hi mate , the boats are catching a few smooth hounds i havnt seen any caught from the beachs yet mate ,, plenty of bass around minehead , dunster etc . rays and congers plenty mate , let me know where your fishing chap i will pop over . all the best mate
