That is the very reason I dont want to use anymore mods. Because the game itself is very dynamic. You use mods, and with the pace of the updates, those mods are quickly become obsolete.
i have a major issue with my side mirrors in the trucks the small mirrior is pink texture and i had removed all my mods and trucks and re built the game for 1.50 and still nothing it still there i have had this issue of ets2 for over 6 months now and idk what to do to try get my mirrors back working fine on the left and right of the trucks
I got an issue with hosting the server after update I can press convoy but after I press Host it's frizzing the game and one way out is only task manager I can join other people servers but I can't host my anyone with solution? loved the video thumbs-up
Great update, aside, the rough road course highlights just how poor the physics modelling of the suspension is. I know the two games aren't the same thing, but the devs need to spend some time in BeamNG.
I expected this to be something bigger about the 1.50 update. Nothing that makes me like, wow that's incredible. Disappointing really. Nothing much more than a regular update
You said this, but this is more of a back end update. There might not be a lot of content, but a lot of source code has been rewritten to allow the TAA, the new particles, and prepare for a bigger graphic update, that might not change how the graphic looks, but at least will optimise the game overall. So I disagree with your statement, this is probably one of the most important updates since release of the game.
Because DX12 would add nothing over DX11 when the engine is still largely single core based. The game engine is bottlenecking DX11, DX12 wouldn't just magically remove that issue.
@@madmax2069 btw you can use DX12 by editing the config.cfg file which I did and FYI there's been no rubber banding whatsoever, very happy with the update actually 😊
@@Samymaniac even with a 4k monitor, the way that TAA operates causes the edges and detail to be softer (makes it seem more blurry, and sometimes masking/hiding detail in the textures).
It works obviously, it's better imo. With just one monitor, there is no change. With multiple monitors, it used to minimize, now it does not. But you can still drag other applications over the game if you want. It means you can now look at game while also using other apps in other monitors
Being honest this is meh! Nothing gets my juices flowing. Its like what are scs prioritizing as this just seems so small you probably wouldn't even notice. Quality video though
I do not hate the new UI, but it takes old users a long time to get used to it. Sometimes when I want to find something, I just stare at the home screen and don't know where to click🤔
@@aavvv_ Here is how the developer version nomenclature works : First number : Software version number Second number : update version number Third number : update fix version number. (Or in SCS case, release stage, as X.X.0.X are beta versions and then update fixes) Fourth number : same as above? In 1.50.1.0 : 1 is the software global version (1) 50 is the major update number (50) 1 is either a minor update or fix update version, or in SCS case, the initial public release of the update 0 is the fix number. Normally it works like this, but it's not followed by everyone, hence the confusion.
@@anonymousmaker6447 no. Because ETS2 only had 50 major updates since 1.0 release. Funnily enough, ATS has not 50 major updates, however its next version is 1.50, just to allow SCS to have a better and clearer road map of future updates.
Why my friend can't see my convoy in the list when we try to play with the same mods,he can't see it anymore after the update,he tried to host a convoy and the same thing happens,I can't see his convoy,but if we turn off the mods,the convoy shows and we can play.We use only 2 mods,one with no damage and one that removes the barriers and invisible walls,got them from the Steam Workshop and they still work,I tested them,I don't think that there is an update for these mods..I don't know why we can't use them anymore in our convoy.
I actually like the new UI over the older version, no matter what screen I'm on, I can just look on left side to bring up relevant information if I need to. I find that useful. It took me a while to get used to it, but, I like the new UI. I have noticed though that performance is okay, I do find that I still have minor stutters despite my hardware is well above the recommended specs, I'm currently playing with a triple monitor setup, Ryzen 5 3600 @3.9+ ghz, 32 gb Ram @3000mhz, RTX 4070 12GB. It plays mostly fine, time & again, I will get small stutters here & there, all in all, it's fine.
Hi its great the full version of Ets 2 ,v 1.50 has been released but i am suprised it got released so soon because in the experimental beta 1.50 blog they talked about releasing open beta next or did i miss something? But great its now available and some mods i am using have been updated to 1.50 so all good
The rework of Duisburg Dortmund Dusseldorf area shows how SCS dont give a fuck about the community. They destroyed 25% of the C-D road already. Off course a rework is welcome, but if they care, they could maintain portion of that beloved road. Let's see how TMP guys will dealing with this big change. The fact is, the majority of ETS players, buy the game to play Truckers MP. Myself included.
