An idea : Consider putting a ramp (or some object/edge to stand on) inside the elevated pools so that animals that accidentally fall in can climb out and avoid drowning.

Garbanzo is so friendly & chatty. Even his plumage is brighter. Its amazing to see a duck so happy even with no other ducks around. Glad that he has a turkey friend & cabys to hang out with. Once it gets colder & Uncle Ben brings more abandoned waterfowl in, garbanzo will help them feel at home right away

I loved getting to see the foxes and the racoons released. I also loved how you scooped up a stray kitten and kissed it lol. Instead of shredding your face to ribbons, it just chilled and accepted the love.

One thing that might help with Gustavo's enclose would be either a sponge filter, or bio media. These would act as a home for the bacteria needed to keep fish. If you can keep Gustavo from biting it a sponge filter would probably work the best. When you change the water all you need to do is rinse it off and maybe give the sponge a few squeezes. You could also collect the old water and do only like a 80% water change. If you have an aquarium you can actually "farm" bio media by letting it get nice and used in the active tank, and then transferring it to a new one. No Prime needed.

Hey Uncle Ben, If you have a fish hatchery near you, for example Jones Fish Hatchery has a bunch of locations in my area, you can buy minnows and other fish by the pound. You can also get little bluegills for like 25 cents each.

Have you ever decided to make one of the tubs be a breeding pool for the minnows? It can be a bit of work raising them or go slightly natural by adding a few plants (some fish prefer it not just for hiding but for their eggs to attach and for the babies to be safe).
