Malachi 4:2 “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.
And also: My beloved speaks and says to me, arise my love, my beautiful one, and come away, for behold, the winters past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree ripens it’s figs, and the vines are in blossom, and give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away. Song of Solomon 2:10-13
Love your videos man! Was hoping to see some videos to help a person starting from scratch. Such as pen size, feeding schedule, to cost that goes in vs comes out. A total series of raising bottle calves for dummies would be great.
@@FarmandHammer we just got some property building our barn now. In January I plan on buying a few bottle calves and getting somthing started. I've been slowly buying a few things here and there to get set up.
Would love something like this too, not a rancher but I’m studying animal science and hope to get some cattle eventually and would love to know important tips and tricks that university and professors don’t teach
Defiantly do some videos about your commerical herd. Would let us know what all you do besides your small herd of bottle calves. Always looking to learn more about the industry.
Hi just wanted to ask I'm new at raising calves and does the BOVI vaccine have to be given to them? even tho they are doing good and going on 2 months eating hay and grain getting ready to be weaned
I have a rescue bull,he is Wil be 6 months old January, I'm just now weaning him off of milk ,now I want to get a female cow for him to have company, can they hang out together?
michele Childs they will hang out together but if he is bigger than the cow he will most likely try to occasionally push her around like if there is grain. But for the most part they should get along pretty well. It all depends on each animals temperament.
Probably them being separated from the herd. They're probably a city boy, no idea that this is actually the better side of farming. Some farmers dont care at all, this one clearly does.
