That nylon connector with screw terminals is called a Lüsterklemme in German, luster connector or insulating screw joint. When I came to Germany in 1965 they were in every junction and distributor box in every home in the country. Using them with litze (stranded copper) resulted in increasing resistance over the years as the connector itself and the copper wires corroded. You could find a junction box in a plastered wall just by feeling for the heat. Nowadays they are not longer allowed in house wiring, but for your purpose it will be okay. I was surprised to see one on a modern piece of kit. Your setup looks great, very professional. Thanks for letting us take a look!

A 'short' update on an electrical gizmo... hopefully there are no shorts. I had an interesting short about a week ago, a 230v supply wire had escaped from a 'chocolate block' connector and was 'resting' roughly where it should have been firmly connected. The breakers did what they are supposed to do but it was a pain tracing the problem. Even delayed putting the kettle on.
When anything delays the kettle it’s a good deal. Glad you got it traced down and repaired. I have this power supply about as protected as I can. Breakers at several points on the wiring and no oversized breakers for the wiring. Thanks and enjoy your weekend
