Yeah, I'm in middle school (8th grade) right now, all of my friends claim that they are Christian, but they sit by themselves at school and all they talk about is girls they like and personally I don't think that reflects Jesus. This song is basically what has been going on in my friendship between them.
There's so much going on in this song. The intro carries trepidation, then comes the banjo that introduces confusion, followed by the anger with heavy distortion, and finally the piano resolves the sadness. It's a breakup in a song.

I already knew this song, but I gradually grew to love a lot of Relient K and I have been listening to this song a lot after breaking up with my fiancè. I broke up with him three times before and it was horrible and I was afraid to break up every time after that, because of the emotional pain. Now I am just numb and I wish I could feel relief. I know what I did was right but it's still hard. I always dreamed of marrying the first guy I loved I guess. This song will help me come to terms with my own grief.
