I was blessed to be raised up in a private school my whole life. Everyone one around you believes in the same thing, you had special classes specifically for your religion. You felt free and unjudged by others. I can't begin to imagine what its like to go to a huge public school where every single person has separate beliefs, its hard to make friends, you don't know how others are going to judge you with your religious practices. This is America we're talking about, built on freedom and freedom of religion. I wouldn't touch a public school with a 10 foot poll. At least a grade school or high school. At the college age its a bit different, mostly everyone doesn't care at this point, there going to school for something they love, not because there forced to go by their parents. Yes, in school you'll come across people, signs, and posters that you don't agree with, which is fine. However its also your responsibility to restrain yourself and act your age when things don't go your way.
