teenage dream is THEE pop bible, not a single pop girlie has come close to the success that katy had during the teenage dream era alongside the deluxe version “the complete confection” she really ran the early 2010s and no one can deny that! sadly during those years the industry was really against her, and in a way it still is, but she truly cemented a place in pop music, and music overall with this album, and this is without talking about the music videos which every single one just is a masterpiece in it of itself

One of the greatest albums of all time. The charts were destroyed with every single. Critics couldn't understand it. The grammys snubbed it. It's a pop Bible and everyone knows it.

I don't think about this album often because artists in this era like Katy Perry, Gaga and Kesha peaked when I was 11. But knowing what I do about music theory and production now holy shit this was an absolute banger and I unironically don't think we've had anything like it since.

Teenage Dream.. that track literally defined my summer back in my high school senior year.. I was biking to school listening to it and it was definitely my favorite time of my teenager era.
