I think a cool feature to add if it isn’t already in the game would be fear and respect from NPCs. If you’re a notorious pirate with high bounty, NPCs on an island will hide in their houses/avoid you. If you’re a highly respected marine NPCs will occasionally salute/cheer you as you walk in the town. This could also work as if you’re a pirate which liberates people, citizens will view you as heroic. If you’re a marine that kills people for petty crimes people will boo you and hide.
I love all the details. It's so much small detail mechanics that really makes the game feel even more alive. As someone who has been playing/making content on Rell Games work for 2 years now, I am truly impressed and honored to be able to experience each and every masterpiece. Thank you.

@@CrunchyMew They will most probably have their perks like fish man with some kind of water buff or being able to swim faster or even being inmune to water when you have a fruit (I guess every race has a different perk that helps u in the game differently based on ur preference)
It would be cool if they added bandit beating tho. Coz maybe some people enjoy it so they can progress that way. but ofc it will reward as much exp as everything else.

Please add a ranking system to the Pirate's Life game, where players can become Yonkous, Shichibukais, and Marines can rise to the rank of Admirals. This would be a great way to motivate players to keep playing, as few games have such an innovation. Starting as recruits and eventually becoming Admirals for the Marines would be highly satisfying for players, and being able to provide rewards as players advance in ranks would be a fantastic addition! :)
Imagine if they add a system for when one of the crews crewmate gets captured and is gonna get executed, the crew can interfere, a lot depends on their bounty
For a musician path, yall should add different instruments that can be played either manually or with premade songs which can get better in quality via musical mastery. It would be fun to have players just popping off on the deck of the ship, especially with someone who may be really talented with playing manually! (I just really like music lmao, Brook path would slap) Adding onto this, as reference, theres a feature in this game, Sky: Children of the Light, that allows you to play music sheets via a timing minigame on your instrument, you could base mastery off of how well you do or smth like that lol, I'm just throwing out ideas.
That's so lame and crews will last one day, since no one will call strangers cause they always start drama and act alpha and will tell you to join they're trash crew instead
47:09 For those who don't realize how impressive this is, I'm going to use Arcane Odyssey as an example. When you're in the Dark Seas or Bronze Seas doing ship combat, you'd have to stop your ship to go fight NPCs because due to the fact that if your ship keeps running and you jump, you fly off backwards. That's normal roblox physics, when your vehicle is running forwards and you jump, the vehicle kind of "outspeeds" you and leaves you behind. With Rell Seas custom physics, this means you can fight on ships while it's running. So your friends who man the wheel and cannons can keep shooting at other ships in the distance, while you kick enemies off your ship deck. This alone opens up the possibility to escape ships when they surround you. With other ship combat from other games, you'd have to stop your ship and defeat everybody around you if you want to live. Not only that, but this also allows you to chill out or move around the ship without being at the helm.
I can tell it's better than arcane cuz of the fact that vetex is just a sole developer who doesn't really listen to feedbacks that much but it keeps the game more og so what can we say...
@@shuu-t7697 I mean, game developers aren't really obligated to listen to feedback though again there is the argument of "If you don't give us what we want we will not support your game" which is why some developers listen to their community. Even then, I think it's a good idea Vetex has his own vision and ideas for his games and while people have good ideas, some of which can be hard for a solo developer to make at all, and we don't even know if some of the ideas we suggest to him would be in the way of what he's planning for future updates. Arcane Odyssey is definitely cooking and if you think about it at the end of the day, Rell Seas took inspiration off Arcane Odyssey's ship customization and combat, polished it and made it more towards what the community wanted to see from Vetex. So all in all, I don't really think Rell Seas or Arcane Odyssey is better than each other but they can definitely build off each other.

im trying so hard not to meat ride right now but i am so glad a game finally added combat on moving ships i honestly never thought it would happen not even on this game. Quite frankly that is VERY impressive and goes to show the level of effort the dev team put into this game.
@@Itsthat_Yuas much as i am a fan of arcane oddysey, you’re literally wrong. If you cast a spell or use any weapon / fighting move on a a ship you are stuck in place and the ship moves on without you, hence the combat on it is impossible

This is the best Roblox game. It’s polished with nice graphics but more importantly the mechanics are AMAZING. I’ve never been a huge fan of combo based combat but the parrying system seems very well done and I’m looking forward to playing it some day. Plus u just have so many Roblox unique mechanics which I’ve never seen before. Massive props.
Dayum, I didn’t have that much of an expectation from this game, but you guys proved me wrong. The detail, the combat system and the interactions are in another level. But there are so many things you guys need to polish before the game’s launch. I believe in you guys. Love the lighting too.

this really feels like a more pirate one piece type game then just focused on fighting pvp and power abilities PVE aspect really adds so much content to a game

He mentioned that him and a few other devs would make a marine faction type thing. It would be cool if there was eventually an event where it was like marine fort. They opened multiple servers so that everyone could experience it, and it would be like massive servers with pirates (who cant attack each other) and marines. The marines would have admirals, but the pirates would have more numbers

I really appreciate the fact that they make their adventure game feel like an actual adventure game, and their focus on content outside of combat. I'm pretty excited about the story mode, and I hope the story mode will act sort of like a tutorial. (Kinda like Arcane) I do hope they add in customizable weaponry on boats, like instead of just cannons you can shoot grappling hooks onto other ships or different sort of cannons and cannon balls. I did notice that in the trailer you can still only jump 8 times. I just don't feel its right to set an arbitrary limit on how many times you can jump, and I would still suggest tying how many times you can geppo to the player's stamina bar, making it drain a set amount of stamina based on their mastery of it or something like that. This would make the aerial combat last a lot longer, and instead of the players having to constantly keep track of their geppo limit, they can just determine it by looking at their stamina. To prevent players from just skywalking everywhere, I feel like making the islands further away like they said would most likely prevent that.

This feels like Arcane Odyssey if Arcane Odyssey had a way better combat system, the focus on the world and travel by boat is such a breath of fresh air and being able to customize your character down to the talents you want to spec into is an amazing decision, the freedom is doing whatever you like is quite honestly incredible and makes the world feel alive, I hope the community makes use of this freedom to make the world of Rell Seas feel just as diverse as One Piece itself, with many people choosing their own unique paths whether it be cooking, merchantry, woodcutting, navigating, repairing ships, etc. I can't wait to see what kind of unique environment spawns out of this unique system (And I also hope people don't just give into their bandit beating urges and only ever progress by killing NPC's cause that would be such a shame)
To say the least, this trailer of sorts has given me hope for this game when I had none for it before, thinking that it would just be an overhyped mess like Pixel Piece was. So, hats off to you RELLgames, I'm impressed by the work you've done.

Next time you guys come out with an update video, I think it would help to make a check list for yourselves and to go over the features in the order that you wrote them down. I think it would help the video flow a little better and make it easier to understand for the average viewer.
The ship combat reminds me alot of Black Desert Online ships ;) You guys can find TONS of inspiration from BDO aswell cause they introduced bartering and apart from mainland they got a deep sea content.

a cool feature to add that maybe if your ship isn’t anchored, maybe it can also drift away slightly so you will have to anchor to prevent your ship drifting away/being stolen.
as a person that enjoys your work since shinobi life 1, i can confidently say that you guys are the best dev team on roblox. you guys were putting up entire live events, weekly updates and maintained the quality of your games i a way that is simply unbelievable, and still managed to develop another games while doing that. people usually joke or go too far when saying that a game doesn’t look like it’s made on roblox, but i sincerely think this one has its own identity, it will break the bandit beater formula, bring actual RPG to roblox and will be truly not p2w. if this game releases like you guys are saying, you will be the ones to successfully change roblox RPG games forever with just passion for what you guys do, i wish you the best on developing this masterpiece and please, take your time and don’t rush this experience. I like how their goal is to make it mainly use ships for travel instead of devil fruits making it more adventurous and fun, they really care about their fan base and understand them I can't wait until this comes out and I hope I can possibly get tester role for this game !!! 👍

Sure, traveling on devil fruits look cool, but traveling with your friends on a ship is more fun and better even if you're alone. Devil fruit should be for pvp or pve and ship combat seems solid so that good!

When watching some of this video, I had a thought; I was always mainly an exploration, adventure, and fighting things player… I just liked trying out new things about the game, which was usually over progression for me mostly. It’s pretty cool that they’re making everything progression, which had something to do with almost all my favorite, or previous favorite games. While I explore and try new things, I’ll also be able to level up too, leading me to not have to worry about doing it all at one time, or just really worrying about it at all. I’m really looking forward to this game, and I’m hoping that it will live up to some of my expectations, on release, or in due time.
Is it me or do anyone else love how isn't doesn't just feel like an anime game and it gives off both a one piece and a normal pirate game I love how detailed it is and they actually care about the smallest things like bosses in one piece that you see like once or twice and fishing which I never see in any one piece game

I hope rell reads this Suggestion: it would be nice to make it where the villages can be completely destroyed, like houses and everything and the villagers would rebuild and it would last about an hour or so and also making it where the useful NPC’s to die and be replaced by someone else.

the ship combat looks amazing and was probably a nightmare to code but if its possible it definitely could use some polish just so that it doesn't look like they are lagging around the entire time
The game is really really filled with different systems and content, the art for mobs and mounts is really great...all is good but the map, movement, and some texture for the world.. like they can get a little mixed up to the point that some parts of the map or an item is abit sus looking.. but all is good, really great even. W rell
A recommendation is haki, it is trainable and you havethe 3 different forms of it. Would be cool if it was like a stat so you could be a sword and haki build or smth. If this does get added it would be nice if observation haki, if you trained it to crazy levels would let you see across hakf the map, but u can change the range you want to see by clicking a button or smth. Same thing with conquerors haki where you can choose the range you use it from. Also it could charge up and u can choose who u dont want to be affected by it by clicking a button after clicking/aiming(with your cursor) at them. Would also be nice if it only just stunned them for 20-40 seconds and but 0 damage dealt. Could also have armament or conquerors haki applicable to swords or fighting styles like how some characters in one piece use it (yonkos mainly). Could also be nice if someone had haki that is stronger than yours(or vice versa) it makes the stronger haki user's haki attacks deal more damage than normal and the weaker user's haki attacks do less (up to less than normal damage without haki if the gap is large enough)

FINALLY Someone Realize wht true pirate/onepiece game is.. i agree about how exaggerated other roblox games about devilfruits that can fly island to island. the Ships that represent pirates and marines become useless.. and the ships customization is super DOPE!!! i wanna play the game right now but still not release yet imma wait
It would be sick if you added npc ships. You can meet up with marine ships or npc private ships where you can get rewards or exp and maybe cosmetics. I think it would add a nice touch to sailing especially for pirates who want to see more of that aspect.
Bro I remember once I was like imagine if there was a Roblox game that had such good ship customisation, you can customize each part of the ship (back, front, e.t.c) wow. Now that game exists and it's Rell Seas
This looks amazing keep yo the good work. But some feed back I have is to make the female customization have more options/muscle toning so not everybody has to be so big.
Hope they add that colosseum as like bracket matches similar to how they did the exams in shinobi origin, the servers where you wait for your round and can observe fights from the sidelines, those were really fun. If not bracket matches, then probably done like how it is in the series, or perhaps an option between the two.
The fact that in this game u will actually have every option to do everything you want like in the one piece, take 10 guys or do a crew like white beard ,get other crew to be allies with your crew , be a civilian etc , and everything affects how you play and what u can do or can t and people have the option to make whatever build and not only same powers ,is making this game the best pirate adventure (one piece)
One cool thing that you could add as a cooking feature you could make little restaurants on an Island and leave an npc that can make the same stuff as you and you can come back and get money from him when you come back
