interesting video, very informative, just ordered my gun from J&G, will certainly reload, and may start doing so with cast bullets, haven't done that yet. Loved the bird noises. Looks like a very nice reloading room. Nice tatoo as well!
Oh, and when I originally slugged this, it was last year and I used a cheap micrometer. I recently got a much higher dollar one and had it slugged about two months ago both by myself and by a gunsmith and we both measured approx. .321-.323
i load hornady's 205grain .329 interlocts over H414and I pour my own from lee's 329 mold. had to use the gaschecks before I would get good results with the boolit cause of the long throat
I've been casting and sizing .329 bullets, but come to find out, my bore is .321 after re-slugging it on the M95 i picked up. So, i've just been using some 8mm mauser bullets i picked up at cabelas. I could have swore that the first time I slugged the bore, it was .329. =\
no lead deposits. bore is shiny and pit free. spent the last year figuring this out. even had another gunsmith check it to make sure I wasn't reading my mic. wrong
I've scrubbed this thing more times than I could count, and gave it to a gunsmith in town and he had it for several days. He's just as baffled as I am... All I know is that I can use .323 bullets and acutally hit a milk jug at 25 yards... I'm not trying to start an argument, it's just that this particular rifle is something... different... lol
