Can’t wait to slap AC and EPS in my boosted dc5. Although not super complicated, it’s much easier seeing someone literally carry out the different methods. Thanks for the content ! PS. I removed the power steering and Ac so I wouldn’t have to deal with the hoses and such, since I have much more space being taken by turbo components, and clean up the bay while I was at it. Now I’m older and need my comforts lol
Nice build. The hose plugs are whitworth/British pipe thread? Look forward to losing the many tiny tubes in the throttle body area. Has anyone had issue with freezing up when heater hoses are removed from the throttle body, and there abouts. I like the idea of one pipe from the water pump to the heater core valve. Nonstop.
just want to make sure, for the tractuff adapters are the options you showed on screen the ones that we should get? -Tractuff M20 to AN adapter (-12 Male Flare) -Tractuff K series Thermostat port adapter (-10 Male Flare, 6.00" of stainless safety wire &.0625" drill bit) Thanks great build by the way!
flip1405 I didn’t have time to post links , will do that tonight. only thing I would probably do differently is run AN12 .The hose I ran (AN 10) is a bit tight . if I did it again I would go AN12 and YES , those would be the options I would pick . for the back of the head your all set . At the thermostat he only offers 10AN so you will need some type of fitting to convert over to 12. I’m sure there is something out there.
I have the power steering and Ac delete kit installed at the moment and I was wondering if the adjustable pulley that I already have can be used instead of swapping for the ep3 pulley like you did?
I had the same set up . Swapped it because I wanted AC back in the car, the alternator needs to go back to it’s stock position , so that the compressor could be put back
Im on a base map from ktuner , not sure what it’s making . And first I figure out what parts i want n search for the best price . I usually use google search to find the best price . 👍🏽
