Cape Town experienced terrible draught in the last few years. Businesses and residents had to conserve water as the city went on a massive campaign of "Day Zero" which was an anticipated day when the city won't have even a drop of water. Well that was politically contested but I was just trying to explain the 2-3min shower restrictions.
Lol this slander against South African men is tiring. Broke? Because they don't want to give you money? Girl you need to make your own money and stand on your own two feet. In South Africa, everyone works. Everyone is breadwinner - men and women. Yes your boyfriend or husband can spoil you from time to time, but remember that generally SA women are groomed to be independent and learn to be able to provide for themselves, not depend on men. Once you want to solely depend on a man for everything you become shamed and called all kinds of names like slay queen and so forth. It's merely a cultural difference that you'll need to adjust to. South African men are also not all the same entirely so generalizing is just unfair. Enjoy your stay :)
I should av said ‘Most SA men are broke ‘ SA woman are very financially dependent I must acknowledge . N of course I make my own money , I have 2 flourishing businesses in my name .
@@ajogayetunde5281 I appreciate you having your own money, but still some of the things you said give an impression of entitlement which is creepy. Just understand that we're different and generally don't like showing off, so even if someone is loaded you can never really tell.
She’s not speaking nonsense. She’s speaking her truth. And I think it’s very close minded of you to judge someone simply because you both don’t share same views or understanding of things :)
1. South African men love genuinely and deeply! 2. They do not show off their wealth! 3. They do give money if their committed, because not every girl is in a relationship for money! 4. South African women are very much independent, and our independency is our pride as women! 5. We definitely do not have water shortage, it was just a phase that passed! 6. We have power cuts but we do not pay for the electricity during those power cuts, we only pay for the electricity we used!
I really appreciate this . The water shortage was as at when she was there . Being independent is key ! I admire and stand for that , thank you so much for watching and sharing :)
Thank you for stating the truth about south african men, I also feel that they are more genuine and authentic than other men from certain other countries, they will not give you money so to keep you in a relationship
SA has the highest number of black millionaires and the highest black middle class in Africa even though we have half the population of 🇳🇬 . So how can you say SA men don’t have money🙄. South Africans are generally not flashy like Nigerians. We also don’t blow our cash on women since they were taught to be independent.
@@Robio_scorpio lmao😂ur so obsessed with south africa... and yes south africa has the highest number of black dollar millionaires with wealth based in the country....read i alwys tell your read
South Africa doesn't have jolof rice. So that was probably a Nigerian restaurant. South Africans are not about class. South Africans all work, men and women so you don't wait for a man to have something
my sister south africa has the biggest middle class in africa , we have the highest number of black dollar millionaires in africa. this thing of black south african men not having money is all lies.
We don’t scam people, that’s why we don’t have money as South African men. You must ask the Jollof boys to teach us, maybe that will help us to get some as well.
But my sister you can’t travel all the way from west Africa to South Africa in a hope to find jollof rice 😂😂, you Nigerians are special. An for your guest to say SA men don’t have money😢, then who does? Hayi sisi your guest was just the worse 🙆🏾♂️ I couldn’t finish watching this video
Oh, you should have , she had some pretty decent things to say about your country as well . Thanks a lot for the clarification, stay tuned for more which hopefully you’ll love to see till the end 😅
Not true. I lived in SA 15yrs never could they think I am foreigner. You know why. I made sure to learn Zulu.since I had clicks in my language was easy to learn and I could speak Afrikaans. So Noone knew. They thought I am but I was not
@@happygolucky4635 You sound like you are from a neighbouring country in SADEC. Since you know Afrikaans & have clicks in your native language. So chances are you fit the stereotypical Southern African look. East Africans tend to also look like SAns since they have Bantu genes. However, West Africans are very easy to tell apart from a Southern Africans
@@chandie3585 Lies, without hearing your accent there’s no way of knowing that you’re not from here. You would blend in, and people would speak to your in South African languages.
My question is 😲WHY IS SOUTH AFRICA SO ADVICE IF SOUTHERN MEN DON'T HAVE MONEY 🙄,WHO IS BUILDING THIS COUNTRY?,In all the country is beautiful because of you Nigerians 😏
Lol kfc is nice😮? And nandos is not nice? We sure are not the same🤣 , to know that a person has got money, how do they look like? Flashy? Hehehe we truly are not the same, one thing about SA'ns we very basic...even the rich rich you cant just tell when you see them in a mall.
But they all like to talk about cape Town and come back to say whites own the country, while they never been around enough to see in SA there's a lot of W,B,C & I who are south africans all over the country and most are rich and don't show off
Every person who visits South Africa has their own experiences...I've been living in Cape Town for 8 months now and I'm originally from Jorburg both places are similar but different at the same time....one thing I've noticed is that when it comes to a TRUE relationship your status is just a cherry on top...money isn't that much of a factor, of course it creates financial stability but as long as your partner is open minded, smart, you help each other grow the.....yeah everything is okay...only few people show off their wealth ,most prefer a simple like 🙂 I appreciate your curiosity about SA
I am a South African woman and I have never dated a stingy SA man ever. SA men usually take care of their SA women but its just spoiling as SA women value independence. As a Nigerian you wont know this as SA men usually dont date outside of SA. Also remember that the people you may have encountered dont represent the whole country. As South Africans we are very low key and conservative so we dont flash.
Our boys are not loud or show off kind of, they know what they want most of them are loaded, they are not in a rush like Nigerians infact your guys are scary they act as if they are in a marathon I must marry a South African sometimes it doesn't add up but it is happening everyday and our girls are buying it, Nigerian girls are beautiful and they know what they want.South African boys know what they want especially those who are monied.
That’s a really admirable trait SA guys have. Nigerians are really in a competition 😂 can’t lie about that. But obviously we know we can’t generalize at the end of the day :)
Oh, I’m so sorry you feel that way . She actually said the hotel she stayed in cape town , she doesn’t know about other parts of the country , I’m guessing you didn’t hear that part . Your country is an amazing country, hardly can it be bashed 💙
As a South African I'm fascinated by how much Nigerians love their rice. That's just weird 😂😂😂and also Nandos is not just for black people. It's for everyone and can be found everywhere in the world, although originallly from South Africa.
I haven't watched the video because I know what you're going to say and the comments have confirmed that this is just another video bashing this country. Stay in nigeria if you have problems with this country and its people. You won't be missed over here.
Aww, you should always see things for yourself . The comments are only from people’s perspective so is the video so you can’t really say . I really appreciate the comment though :)
@@chandie3585 Nope. If the people are telling you that you're being biased against them then you're the problem. If you want come here and call us xenophobic then please just leave and never come back. We already have enough foreigners causing problems here and you'd be one less problem if you left.
I was also surprised when she said she saw only whites, I think she might have gone to Capetown for a short holiday Capetown is multicultural there’s Black, Whites and Coloureds I think she’d go to Durban and say she only saw Indians only😅😅😅😅
Im so surprised to see South African women defending and speaking positively of us South African men. Thank you ❤ its so refreshing What that woman said about South African men is very antagonizing
One should ask If she was a tourist or someone who was looking for men to give her money to show how rich they are,in SA we work for our money mostly getting some from a man it's just a bonus.
Mostly we can tell if someone isn’t South African, except those from Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho as those are our direct cousins and share similar culture and languages, some from Zimbabwe as well. Mozambican culture is totally different from South African culture even though we share a border, a Mozambican will struggle to assimilate in Soweto, but someone from Botswana will fit in easily. It’s not only about language, light skin, dark skin, tall or short, it’s about the culture and the way one carries themselves even without saying a word. West Africans are totally different from South Africans, in height, facial features and hair type, even if a Nigerian can learn Zulu, we’ll still see he isn’t Zulu. Even though your guest who visited South Africa has skin type that some can say looks South African, her facial features and mannerisms will still let people know even if she’s isn’t saying anything. However, there are outliers in every population sample, there are South Africans who get mistaken for West Africans, and I’m sure there are West Africans who can totally look South African in every way, in their demeanor and mannerism. In terms of money, I don’t know why Nigerians are so arrogant as to think they can walk into a country and have more money than the people who run that country, but it’s a general believe I’ve heard, and I think it’s just culture like I said before. SA people don’t show off, sometimes if you can’t see someone’s car and/or house, you’ll literally classify them as low class or poor, because mostly we don’t like to show off, it’s extremely frowned upon. Ask yourself, with all the infrastructure you can see, who designed it, who built it, who manages it, who got the big contract to build it, who’s getting the maintenance contracts, who’s the CFO, CEO, HOD etc. This is our country and all these things are done by us and we get paid for doing all these, and SA salaries are waaay higher than Nigerian, it’s just that it’s not in our culture to show off. Ask Nigerians who lived in South Africa for years.
i realy want to visit SA cos i hear alot of good things about the place. Thank u for sharing ooooo this one we wil be spending 3 minutes inside the bathroom edakun that cant be possible ooooo if i wan shit nko and i stay long in the toilet if i have to do number 2 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Let me respond to you neh ,as far as I can see from your msg you're from Nigeria 🇳🇬 pls tell us what we see in your movies are real or not? And what we hear from stupid women in SA about Nigerian boyfriends that they bath in buckets as we see on their movies, is it the truth or propaganda
Am a fan of black patriotism but the thing is what are travellers bringing to make economy better because in Europe when Dutch travels he doesn't burden the economy of Germany. In this way Africa will grow.
Nigeria is the richest giant in Africa i m happy when the youth stand up Nigeria can be modernized in few years with all the billionaires en millionaires en the government Nigeria can transform
Lol yet another foreign person saying SOUTH AFRICAN men are broke, In South Africa we are tought to be humble flashing your wealth is seen as shameful. So please get your facts straight before generalizing about people you clearly know nothing about.
They are not usd 2 money given the fact that their currency is low, when they see dollars they get mad and they haven't seen real wealth yet, myb we humble whn we have money cause we live with white ppl who have alot of it Nd we copy the Behavior, problem is we don't date nigerian women so they don't knw our behavior, myb u can ask ladies frm other Southern neighbouring countries
Not true, Nigerian food is loved by a lot of people around the world, and when people talk about African food that they like to eat, they either talk about Ethiopian or Nigerian food.
@@tyaler9805 she's talking about the availability of it in South Africa, so calm down. It's not our thing in SA and as much you may perceive that it's "loved all over the world" then you'll have a rude awakening when you come to South Africa because we prefer our own cuisines. No hard feelings. When you visit SA, you shouldn't be shocked that there isn't Nigerian food available or that the food is different. What else does one honestly expect?
@@palesamogorosi8939 Who cares about your country which I have absolutely no interest in visiting. Y’all hate everything about us so of course you’ll hate what we eat to.😂 Btw, y’all food is disgusting and we have better food on average.
SA men aren’t stingy. I think west Africans just have a different relationship with money. Southern Africans we tend to be more conservative west Africans tend to be more showy which isn’t a bad thing but it doesn’t necessarily mean SA men don’t have money.
YOU! Don’t date woman from other countries because you’re myopic and ignorant. Speak for yourself because as much as you’ll want to ? You can’t speak for everyone ❤️
@@thabomoses8765 SA men are not the Ideal type of men women want. Even out and inside of Africa women doesn't like them. And they lack confidence to approach a lady cause of rejection.
Cape Town draught also known as Day Zero, was in 2018. I guess your lady friend was around Cape Town during that time. That has passed. She sad a lot of nonsense abt South African men which makes her look cheap.
Ha! Her opinion and perception of a place shouldn’t make her look any type of way , don’t you think ? A lot of non Nigerians have dropped inaccurate view and perception of Nigeria and Nigerians but I won’t tagged them ignorant because that’s their perception :)
Coz south africans aren't homogeneous. We're of different cultures even though we're all south africans. As a Zulu, it's our way of life to spoil our wives and we work hard to achieve that. But i know one particular south african ethnic group i wont mention, that generally avoids to spend money on their women. For example my wife is a university qualified teacher. She became unhappy with teaching and i gave her the choice to be a housewife because i can take care of her. And she is now a housewife whos decided to do an online accounting degree this year. And im paying for all that and her whole upkeep in general. Im not just unique. Thats just how we Zulus generally treat our wives.
We don't eat jollof rice here🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣,if wasn't for Nigerians being here and their movies we won't even know the type of food they eat. Point of correction South Africa has their own staple food we eat from traditional to modern😩😩😩. No fufu or jollof here mxm
Nobody said anything about selling Dr*Gs here . Are you maybe insinuating that your media stereotyped Nigerians to these form of hustle ? I honestly feel like , if the Europeans are uninformed about Nigeria , our fellow Africans shouldn’t be uninformed as well , don’t you think ?
@@chandie3585 go to places like Kempton Park, Berea, Sunnyside just to name a few . U will realize im not insinuating anything its a reality. Its so unfortunate our law enforcement are not patriotic . They working with the criminals that are destroying the lives of young South Africans.
There is no way you guys don't do those things. There are bad people every where. But stereotyping Nigerians to those jobs is not a good thing, cos anyone who really knows Nigerians will tell you they are hard working people. Do they have bad people, yes! But the 10% that want to live fast lives shouldn't be used as a yardstick to describe the rest of the nation.
Yes she's about water restriction, Capetown just came out of day zero where a lot of people left without water because of unexpected drought, actually it was predicted that the rest of the country could at some point experience it.
Hahaa...the Airport 😊😀Oh my...People always say this...I hope to travel to SA one day...travelling makes you see the world in a different light..a very insight video...I just subscribed
Nigérian and SouthAfricans and others Africans country ,WE are brothers and siters. Our Aim must be to fight againt thé bad citizens in all Africans country.🙏
I don't agree with the part that says most South African woman like Nigeria man that's not true. Most is a big word, not even close. 2ndly. it's in our culture to look down on people that show off. It's not that SA man don't have money it's just different social values. We are at a point in time where 50/50 rules apply woman are on the rise it's not just man doing the most but our sister too so obviously we then expect to contribute the same. Woman that's don't add value by contribution to the relationship are increasingly considered to be dead weight and won't be good for our future. That's my input.👍🏽
South African women drive their own nice cars, and have their own fancy jobs. You won’t tell just from looking at a person at a shopping mall sometimes, that they drive big German cars. We do not need the men’s money so they are not under pressure to do everything to make money. Showing off is for people who are trying to get there.
The shower thing may be true, but I do not think she was in cape town, probably in Hermanus, cause they do announce in hotels there that each room's water is capped, especially if there is a drought..
I have watched a lot of Nigerian content about SA, unfortunately girls I feel yours is a bit ignorant. I love Nigerian content creators, I feel you should do more research on some of your topics....one love.
Sweet heart south Africans are every were, infact their wealth mostly comes from them investing in other countries, eg Nigeria. The way we patronize them in Nigeria they should ever be greatful for us.
The reason you see lots of white people in Cape Town is that Cape Town is an internal tourist destination, especially for Europeans. The majority of population is colored (mixed race) followed by blacks. White people form about 15%.
Nice vid. Glad I clicked. What I would advise Nigerian women is to associate with South African women when you visit. You'll have a totally different experience. What I have noticed with some Nigerian women who live in SA , they keep to themselves/ their own circle. Which is disappointing.
These people do the same thing when they go to America. They distance themselves from the Black Americans then turn around to speak smack about them. They can't coexist with host citizens. I don't understand that mentality.
@@palesamogorosi8939 Are you even in America to say this shit? Plus, the relationship between Nigerians and SA is different from the relationship between BA and Nigerians so stfu.
That simply mean they are in a host country to take take take and leave not to add any value that is why South Africa should make their Visa expensive.
