Ive been anxiety tooooooo. Anxiety bedore getting the visa. Now i have gotten the visa,and I have 3 weeks befire I travel to the UK. I have been having chronic anxiety to travel. The 3 weeks feels like 1000 years. Waiting iant always easyyyy. Like every phase comes with headache. But Gods got all of us waiting on Him for a breakthrough. Congratulations on your rravel!

Hi, please how long did it take for your visa to be out? I and my family went for our biometrics on the 6th of July being Wednesday and on the 11th being on Monday we got a mail that the visa has been received at the decision making body, please we are going for a wedding ceremony on the 30th and today is already the 11th working day, please is the 3 weeks processing time already in use? I’m really anxious right now concerning the visa, please how long did yours take before it came out and do you think ours will come out early for us to travel? Thanks so much and congratulations
Hi Amarachi, Yes, the time starts counting from the day you do your biometrics. it took exactly 15 working days(standard time) for me to get a decision. I’ll advise you check your mail regularly, spam and all just in case you get a mail asking for additional information. Also always check your application status on the tracker. I understand how you feel, it’s really just a waiting game. As long as you don’t get any NSF mail, your visa should be out at the said time. Try to distract yourself for the time being. Hi Ojo, so VAF number is Visa Application Form number it’s pertains to ppl that need to declare any visa rejections they’ve had in the past… if you don’t have any visa rejections don’t bother about it. My believe is no one can take my issues more seriously that I would that’s why I insisted on doing it myself and to be honest it’s very straight forward. There’s really nothing an Agent can do that you can’t.Just make sure you ask questions about anything you are unsure about, don’t just assume. I hope this helps
Okay thank you I'm asking because I want to apply for a visa soon still waiting for my international passport tho. So it will take only 3 weeks for it to be approved after u do the test?
@@saraheyong7126 you’ll need your international passport in order to do the tb test. So I’ll advise you wait till you get the passport, do your tb test then apply for your visa
Can you book flights without getting your visa? Besides the general advise of not being too forward and the possibility of not getting your visa? If getting rejected is not a concern, can you book your flight before getting your visa. Also I thought you were supposed to get a mail informing you of the outcome of the decision before telling you to come collect your visa?
Dear Franklyn, you only get a mail if your application was unsuccessful. I did the part payment plan with wakanow. I paid a certain amount before i got my visa and then paid the rest after, you can do that as well
So the group is for prospective students attending my school.. Go on nairaland and search for the Uk student visa thread, then ask someone to add you to your school group. That’s how I got to join mine. I hope this helps
Hi Seun, No interview.. UKVI canceled interviews for student visa during the pandemic... only ppl whose application are complicated gets invited for one. It’s rare tho.
I dont think so. I didnt have any interview. Just submit your application, go for your biometrics and wait for a decision to be made in your application
