I just wanna say thank u for this video as I have owned a neon for about 5 - 6 months now and have had to figure out how to use it by fooling around with it on my own. Other videos not as informative, especially on the hot loop & manual loop function. I'm still a little fuzzy on saving loops, I've had to go to the computer and click on that little lock manually. Also unsure on how to shift from cue / loop mode to loop mode from the neon and not the computer.
Question....I currently own a Pioneer DDJ SX and I was wondering if you guys could tell me if you think there is a significant reduction of mouse usage if I were to own a DDJ SX2 or if it would make any sense to purchase a Reloop or SP1 and some how use that in combination with my DDJ SX. I prefer not to use my mouse while taking advantage of features such as Flip, SP6 and HotCues
thanks for making this video. i've been seriously considering adding this to my vestax vci-380 mostly to trigger the sp6. i'm wondering if this will also allow me to use the 3rd effect on each deck in serato? the 380 doesn't have a button or knob dedicated to that so what i do now is use an external mouse so that i don't have to touch the trackpad on the laptop. but i want to eliminate that from my set up. what do you think? is this the right peice of gear for me>
+Mac Joseph nice, nice. I'm curious, were you just not interested in having pressure sensitive performance pads or? I had forgot about the reloop neon when looking into the pioneer sp1.. seems like the neon is perfect for freeze mode and stuff like that. Would I get the full potential out of the neon using traktor? complete remix deck control, freeze/slicer mode etc etc.. and I'm curious if stems would work on it as well but that's an after thought as I'll probably buy an f1 anyway... just want performance pads to add to my s4 so I can manipulate to the extent I want.
