I love this clip. It's like Stipe was lazily hanging out on his screened-in porch, and the other guys just pop over and start playing randomly and he begrudgingly agrees to sing, but is completely bored. Awesome.
It's amazing to see Stipe so relaxed and yet singing like on the record. Probably it comes form the fact that sometimes he used to sing laying on a sofa to experiment his voice thorugh different positions.
...which is exactly what they'll say to their kids. and what our parents said to us back in the early 90's. and what their parents said to them in the 60's. don't kid yourself that your generation got the best stuff. what excited you when you were young still excites you, and stuff coming out now can't compete because it doesn't have the same associations. if you were sixteen right now i suspect you'd feel quite differently than you do now.
Man these guys knew how to write music. They had whatever that thing The Doors and Led Zeppelin had. That Beatles factor of natural talent that pours out in every song.
Here again is another example in which the acoustic version in this case "Losing My Religion " is by far a much better version that the recorded version 👍 👌 😀 ❤
I don't envy this current generation. I'm happy to have come of age during this period. Creativity and originality was in the air back then. I'm really sorry, but you guys missed the party.
this when mtv show real music not now when mtv show lady gaga n jushit bieber please god turn back kurt cobain, john lennon, george harrison, hendrix and freddy mercury.. and i give you lady gaga n jushit bieber
My mother always said never trust a man who's eyebrows meet in the middle....fuck me berry's eyebrows are having a party on his forehead ...trust is out of the question for sure
I hate being only 12 because when I listen to song like this and stuff like the Beatles people give me hell cause I don't listen to riahanna or whatever. I wish I could had been born lived in the 70s.
