REM ride at midday from Montreal Central Station to Île-des-Sœurs Station and back again 🚅 

Here is a REM ride between Central Station in the downtown sector of Montréal and Île-des-Sœurs Station / Nuns' Island station.
I filmed this video during my lunch break and was able to make it to Île-des-Sœurs and back again.
This video was filmed on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 starting at approximately 12:45 PM Eastern.
In this video, I film the first part of the ride from Central station to Île-des-Sœurs station from the front window.
On the return trip back to Central Station, I focus more on filming from the side windows.
One of the most spectacular things about this train is the ability to see directly out the front and back of the train, where normally a train operator would be.
Because the trains are automatic and any control intervention needed is done remotely, there is no need for designated space for a train operator and there is much more room for passenger windows.
I absolutely love this train so far.
