Smash has seen a whole lot of fighters across its history, with a variety of design ideas going into them. Guest fighters in particular often feel like they walked right out of their home series, with physics and mechanics designed to feel as close to their original gameplay as possible. However...it doesn't always happen that way.
Sometimes things don't go according to plan, and a certain blue hedgehog is proof of it--for various reasons, Sonic's gameplay in Smash has never quite clicked. His moveset, while inspired by his games (Sonic the Fighters especially), still feels like it misses its potential. And through various quirks and oversights, his optimal playstyle for a long time has been to run away from opponents and slow down matches in a way that feels completely out-of-character!
But what if we could do something about that? Let's remake Sonic's design as a Smash fighter, retooling and overhauling his moves and abilities to be truer to character, more fun to play as, and less infuriating to play against!

If you check Remix 64’s take on Sonic they gave him a unique stage entrance animation with Tails flying him in with the Tornado and his Down Air being ripped right from Yoshi which is ingenious and fits him like a glove too imo, he also has a sex kick too which is neat. His Stages are not just Green Hill but Casino Night and Metallic Madness to name a few.

Just as a little addition, I think that adding the ability to increase the boost meter through taunting would be a fun inclusion. Not only does it harken back to Generation's trick system, but it would encourage the player to taunt between stocks to keep the meter up, which adds to that narrative of Sonic being the ultimate cheeky bastard.

@@seabass64 while that’s true, I’d imagine you’d be stuck in the taunt(s) mid air so the opponent would have a good opportunity to punish assuming no i-frames are involved with midair taunts

Because the boost bar only being charged by landing hits would encourage Sonic Players to, you know, approach their foes instead of run away and throw the matches? The whole point of this remake it is to iron out Sonic's campy aspects to make play like an actual hit & run character and not a keep away character

A few things I would like to point out with regards to how Sonic is portrayed… - Some of his animations do need work since they saw a regression post-Brawl. More of Sonic’s expressiveness being brought back would be nice. - Due to Smash not being unionized, Roger Craig Smith wasn’t able to do unique voice lines (as well as a number of other issues regarding to the voice actors of various characters in English). Unionizing the next Smash game would allow for us to get more unique Sonic lines next time, including Roger’s take on “You’re too slow!” & potentially the deeper tone introduced in Frontiers. There’d also be the benefit of finally getting English Cloud & Sephiroth as well as Jennifer Hale recording new lines for Bayonetta. - I’m surprised you didn’t suggest the SOAP Shoes, especially given that Frontiers brought them back as an alt for Sonic.

This is near everything I wanted for a true Sonic moveset. I also like how you worked on making sure Sonic is now incentivised to fight since running away and slowing down the battle is the opposite of what Sonic would want to do in a fight. Two of my favourite changes were the air tricks and the Spin Dash fusion. I've never heard those ideas before but they feel so right.

As a Sonic fan, I can say that this was a perfect moveset for Sonic! -Boost as side special makes sense, but not broken cause it doesn’t deal damage -Combining his side and down specials AND the Drop Dash was a genius idea -Putting the Sonic Eagle on Back air was a really smart idea, makes it so much more balanced -Stomp was a great choice for down air -Wild Rush up special was unexpected but works really well -Super Phantom Rush balances his Final Smash perfectly (not OP like Brawl/SSB4, but not weak like Ultimate) -Love the addition of the Air Tricks 10/10, one of the best Sonic moveset I’ve seen. Makes his play style more in-character, but also keeps it balanced.

I'd say boost promotes running away a little too much since it doesn't do anything other than have him run away, boost having some knock back and possibly low dmg would promote it as a combo tool instead of just promoting the keep away play style but that's just imo

Despite being the billionth Sonic moveset remake, this one is underrated. The many I've seen gone HAM on the ideas but don't even mind about potential balancing issues or throwing out an entire play style for something more flash. The momentum based movement might be taxing for some, but if done well, it might be an okay new element.

Pretty sold. But I think forward and back air should swap. Sonic Eagle just fits in too well as a forward air. (It also contrasts with Mario's, which is something I want his moveset to do more of.)

It also makes sense because in SADV2, the spin kick had the ability to mostly instantly change your momentum from one direction to the other. It would make perfect sense for forward air to remain for Sonic Eagle and for back air to be a momentum-switching spin kick like how it acted in the game.

Personally, I think the opposite direction of the spike further emphasizes the contrast, kind of like DK & K. Rool’s forward and back airs.

Amazing video! I hope Sonic gets a rework similar to this whenever the next Smash comes around. One change I’d make is somewhat bringing back his old dash attack from Smash 4. Pressing the button once would have him curl up into a ball for a multi hit attack, pressing it again would have him do the slide mentioned in the video. It’s another “ball move” which some people complain about, but I feel this one would be fitting as rolling was a big part of keeping momentum in the classic games. EDIT: Also, I feel like Up Special is a little strange. I understand the current spring being an annoying move but I feel like it could be reworked by using the modern springs that have propellers when in the air, same functionality without the gimping.

What about the rainbow rings in games? Personally,I'd have him use the rings similar to Sora's side-b, ble to change directions but it wouldn't do any damage, and either have them be fairly short, but fast ones that you can do moves out of, or have 3 longer ones that will put you in freefall.

Nice to see the Blue Blur get a retooled Moveset finally as he desperately needed one since his Smash debut! You did an excellent job of toning down Sonic's speed so whenever players are fighting against him, he isn't constantly exhausting them, and whenever players are fighting with him, they aren't constantly abusing him, while still capturing the spirit of his games, and still being the fastest fighter in Smash, and also not having him curl in a ball as often! I especially love how you incorporated the Boost mechanic while also trying to make sure it isn't too OP! I even love the idea of Sonic's knee Pummel being faster to bring out while also dealing less damage, and I actually thought of a way that it could be enhanced even further! Instead of a single knee strike, now he hits his caught opponents with both of his knees individually at a fast pace, or a quick double knee strike, to stand out from other knee jabs, and also to really emphasize that speed (though it would also be one of the weakest Pummels for obvious balance reasons)! Could even give him a smug expression on his face while he's doing it to further show off his personality! Now maybe it's just me, but, I also kinda feel like Sonic has become both more expressive, and less expressive at the same time from For onward if that makes any sense, and what I mean by that is that I wish he kept his shit-eating grin from X as opposed to just smirking as while I do think the latter still fit his character, I feel like the grin really defied who he is. If we do get Smash 6/7, I do hope Roger Craig Smith says Sonic's more iconic lines in the English version of X as I'm not a fan of his newer ones in For onward. Another solid Remake It! video, Delzethin! :D Very impressive how you managed to not use much material from Frontiers while still finding ways to swap out some of his older moves with better improved ones, and leaving some of his old ones alone, and not make him as broken! I look forward to seeing what you have install for future RI videos! Maybe you could find ways to make Daisy not be a clone of Peach anymore, and could be her own, separate fighter! Or maybe include abilities from Super Princess Peach as part of Peach's Moveset while also checking to make sure it fits Smash's fighting style! Perhaps have Bowser where he isn't fast since he's much slower in the Mario universe, as well as having him use more claw attacks, and headbutts like in the past as opposed to just punches, and kicks!

Honestly i am shocked that sakurai has not taken the fan mod approach by adding a new character that takes the old moveset of a character and give the old character new moves, like Black Shadow from F-Zero with Ganons old moveset & Classic Sonic with Modern Sonic’s old moveset Edit:Also the costumes could just be outfits sonic has worn in his actual games like the Beat, Racing suit, Santa suit & Baseball uniform

I'm guessing because movesets and character are very intertwined with each other. It's like taking away an old, super useful special move in place of a new one and then slapping it on another character. Yeah it still works, but it just doesn't _feel_ the same...

I've been waiting for this for a long time, and overall it's...pretty good. I especially love how you combined the Spin Dashes together AND added the Drop Dash from Mania. That's an idea I've also wanted Sonic to do. I was a little thrown off when you put the Sonic Eagle as the Back Air, but after you explained why you did, it makes sense. I am still a tiny bit mixed on giving Sonic the Boost and a meter mechanic though, but with the way you made it work, it makes Sonic a lot more fun to play as and less annoying to fight against, so I'm a lot less mixed. The only thing I'm not a fan of is replacing the Spring with Wild Rush as Sonic's Up Special. I get that it's so that Sonic doesn't constantly gimp people with it, but Springs are a very iconic part of Sonic and I personally feel like getting rid of it is rather disappointing. But other than that, this was a really good moveset revamp!

Ngl this was perfect! Good job, good sir! Ever considered doing one for byleth? The godess of time's vessel's kit is fanservice heavy through the relics but it dosent go far enough onto her time based abilities, her whip sword and (possibly) magic. Good video, mate!

Yeah, this was pretty expected for the next Remake It. Sonic is not in a great spot right now moveset wise, and a character as iconic as him should have a more interesting moveset. Overall Thoughts: Encouraging aggression via the boost meter is a good change, reminds me of Guilty Gear’s Tension Gauge. I don’t think giving characters meters is that big of a deal, as long as it makes sense for the mechanic in question. Sonic Eagle being Back Air is kinda weird, but I do see your reasoning. (Later Edit: Though I do think FAir and BAir being switched would work just as well.) The new Final Smash is perfect. I do think we could stand to bring in more of Sonic’s personality, though, as in Smash 4 and Ultimate, that part of him is lacking.

The one thing I would want to change is his forward smash. When I first played Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, I always thought his basic full-power charged attack in that game would work amazingly. (For those who haven’t seen it, Sonic leans back to one foot while charging, then launches into a multi-hit torpedo-like horizontal spinning kick.)

@@jamainegardner4193 if you’re talking about the game, it might be a little later to get it yourself. (Sonic Boom is a Wii U game, and the E-shop just shut down.) I can pretty much guarantee that there’s a handful of gameplay videos out there though.

Coming from a Sonic main, and Sonic fan in general, this is probably the best new moveset concept I’ve ever seen! I would love to see a moveset like this be added to Sonic in a future Smash title, and even if not, I would love to see a modder in the Smash community make this moveset a reality!

This is a really neat interpretation of a new moveset for Sonic. If you wanted to incorporate the cyloop into it. I've had the idea that it could be up throw, since it pops enemies upwards in Frontiers. Maybe change his down smash to a break dance kick, I dunno something about Sonic doing that as an attack just feels right.

I love how so many RU-vidrs make their own movessets for Sonic because they all have amazing ideas and make Sonic more unique and better than how he is in SSBU!! They also make it where Sonic is more fun to play as and fight against!!

This moveset is PERFECT! It incorporates Sonic's newer abilities like boosts and Frontiers combat, and it encourages a rushdown-style mindset, which is the far more fun way to play Sonic. The only thing I'd consider changing is making his nair more of a lingering hitbox to represent how he attacks by jumping in 2d/classic Sonic games

Wow! A moveset that actually reworks Sonic to make him feel more balanced but also to make him feel like his games more. I think the moveset ideas here are actually really great, and I especially agree with the Final Smash being based on Super Phantom Rush from Sonic Frontiers. Getting rid of Super Sonic for his Final Smash doesn't make sense, so having Super Sonic being based on Sonic Frontiers with a more cutscene oriented Final Smash is definitely a much welcome change. I also like how you incorporated moves from Frontiers, and also included the boost mechanic but had it deal no damage. I know Sonic fans are tired of the boost mechanic, but I think it would work well as a run away tool and a recovery tool. I also love how you incorporated the Drop Dash from Sonic Mania into Sonic's reworked Down Special (Which by the way, the way you reworked it makes perfect sense since his current side and down are basically the same thing). The Drop Dash, to me, can make for some interesting plays and could work pretty well. Regardless, amazing moveset. Would love to see the Smash team for a potential future game to take some of these ideas into a reworked moveset. Hopefully the guys at Sonic Team also see this and takes notes, and gives their input if they were to be contacted again.

My take on sonic's alts are almost the same but still keep the blue color with some shade alterations, here's mine: 1. Neutral 2. Adventure 1 (Crystal Ring and Light Speed Shoes with a dark blue shade and his quills drooping down referencing the og dreamcast version) 3. Adventure 2 (Soap Shoes, Bounce bracelet, Flame Ring, etc.) 4. Riders (Sunglasses and different shoes) 5. Unleashed (A greyish color with his spikey shoes referencing Werehog Sonic and wearing Chip's bracelet) 6. 06' (Any one of the gems he uses but who knows) 7. Secret Rings (Darkspine Sonic) 8. Terios (Shadow's original form during the early sketches) or not, Sonic Boom (his scarf and bandages in his wrists and legs) His final smash probably would've been the Team Blast from Heroes where Tails and Knuckles join in to like how Shulk's final smash was.

I love most of these! They're exactly what I would've chosen myself. Personally though, I would've kept his up-b as is. Since Sonic moves so fast, and since the original launched him so high, it served as a good move to recover with in case you accidentally overshot a move (such as his original side-b).

Outside of making the Sonic Eagle the back air, I think this is a pretty damn good moveset. If it were me, I'd just make it the forward air, and keep the current back air, cause while it's not a reference or anything, it's still a fun move to perform that fits Sonic. Also yeah, meters are a cliché, but it makes sense not only because it keeps the boost and wild rush in check, but the boost is always restricted with a meter of some kind in the games anyways, so it works. Dunno if you saw, but Smash Crusade is changing Sonic's FS in their game to the Super Phantom Rush as well, and I think it's a cool idea. It's certainly better than how Super Sonic has been in past Smash games. Here's hoping the next Smash game at least makes some of these changes to Sonic.

I love the majority of this as a long time Sonic fan, but personally would have kept his Up B, it's something more unique to him being the stronger object drop Up Bs. Otherwise, very little to complain about, only other thing I do think is a bit of an issue is his skill oriented invincibility to go through projectiles and catching people dropping on him, to keep it in the same vein and make the meter more worth it, perhaps we keep those invincibility frame on his boost for the same duration, but there isn't a hitbox, he just has a way to force his way in or get himself out in certain situations and still needs to be timed incredibly well to get the value

This is certainly refreshing. Though I do have one small nitpick: Sonic’s up special and how you incorporated that boost gauge into it. Instead of just holding down the button for one extra surge, how about Sonic just taps the special button again to use one boost arrow for an extra dash. At a full gauge, he could perform a maximum of 4 wild rushes. He could use these for either combos or recovery… But to compensate for potential ladder combos, Sonic can’t get any boost until he touches the ground. And if they over extended a combo by using the last boost arrow in reserve, they go into free fall. And just like with that slide, if Sonic collides with someone’s shield, he stops dead in his tracks. This allows Sonic to quickly get in, land some hits, and dip out safely. But if his opponents can see him coming and react fast enough, they should be able to put the hedgehog on ice.

-honestly the most impressive part of this Moveset is not that is great & i need it by Brawl, but that it actually uses Modern's moves rather than go hard on the Classic references only -that being said, for Up Smash i would like to see Sonic using all 3 Elemental Shields: Start the Jump with Electric, then Dash with Fire, then end with the Bubble Stomp-bounce - that Boost mechanic is how i wish it worked in the main games tbh - Sonic's main gimmick should be Taunt combo, also the up-taunt should be the actual SA1 pose rather than the Sonic X's arm crossed one

What if his neutral special has a quick cyloop kinda like Mythra's foresight, but nerfed, this would work where there is a 1 second time frame after he lands a homing attack and if landed successfully works like cloud's finishing touch and launches them really high, if he doesn't land it as it is perfect shieldable he will be launched instead if damage is high or at low percents it simply stuns him. Oh, and he does a trick each time he bounces off an opponent like in the games

Finally a fitting moveset for the blue blur, I always felt like his Ultimate moveset was really lacking and didn't feel as Sonic-like as it should've, so if this was his official moveset it would be way better as it keeps the Sonic players constantly attacking while also being able to escape fast enough if they get into a sticky situation, and it makes it all the harder to camp with him wich makes him less toxic.

For his costumes he could have accessories from others games with a slightly different fur color (Like some playable Pokemons that have hat accessories and a slightly different color). The iron glove from The Black Knight A flame and ring from Seven Rings Even full fur color changes as references to his transformations like Darkspine Sonic, Werehog Sonic and Dark Sonic (I think thats already in game but it can be darker).

Only tweak I'd make is to Wild Rush. I'd have it work kind of like Pikachu's Quick Attack where you pick which direction you move after each subsequent dash and you could get ONE extra dash per boost bar segment (assuming it was three segments like the illustration). Depending on balance needs, you could have it require a segment to make any attack dash so that you're limited to three dashes max instead of four but I think four would be fine if they're short.

9:00 I see what you did there. This is probably the best Sonic rework I've seen. It actually tries to fix Sonic's biggest flaw: his playstyle. Giving Sonic more agency with this speed will make him a lot more fun to watch and play. Anything to not make him obnoxiously evasive.

Just a couple of details that could help. Sonic entering the battle should be him exciting cyber space. One of Sonic’s victory animations should be the chaos emeralds dance, and a new idle animation when injured could be his corrupted animation from frontiers. I also thing that sonic should start with a single boost bar at the beginning of the round, that would allow one to begin combos a lot easier. You know I must have been playing Sonic wrong in smash bros, I’ve always been very aggressive and usually start the battle with a spin dash jump and homing attack combo.

Just for fun, here's my version: Jab: 5 hit punch from Fighters F-tilt: same U-tilt: Up Draft from Battle D-tilt: Slide Dash attack: Air Boost Up Smash: his third hit from Frontiers Forward Smash: same Down Smash: Sonic Flare from Battle Neutral Air: spinning kick, which I believe is called the Top Spin Forward air: Sonic Eagle from Battle Up air: same Back air: same Down air: Stomp from Sonic Unleashed Grab: grapple beam from Sonic Boom, which means yes, I am giving him a tether grab and a z-air All of his throws will stay the same. Alternatively, you could also give him one of his attacks from Frontiers Neutral special: same Side special: same for balancing reasons, but it'll look more like the Light Speed Dash from the Adventure games Up special: Tails Carry from Colors Ultimate Down special: same Final Smash: Team Ultimate from Heroes. He'll fly towards the opponent, and if successful, it'll transition into a cutscene where Super Sonic, Super Tails, and Super Knuckles will attack them

A really cool change to sonic’s move set. I think one thing that would be cool is if you’re boosting on the ground you can use some unique smash attacks that have either high knock back or damage, but missing the attack leaves sonic open to a counter attack so timing a boost attack is important

The only thing I would add to this, which is something I've never seen people consider. Is a light speed dash/chaos control mechanic. The way it would work is when you parry you can hit jump and you'll dash backwards while they're in parry stun. However, if you hold special while shielding and parry you'll teleport behind your opponent ready to attack.

Aerial taunts would be pretty cool. I also think it'd be neat to incorporate directional dash attacks to show his versatility at high speed, since he has both his sliding dash and his sliding kick from Sonic '06. For his up dash attack, it could just cancel into up tilt to avoid upward attack redundancy. Finally, I think the final hit for his Final Smash should be a supercharged homing attack; and as an aesthetic flare, hits so hard it scatters the Chaos Emeralds and immediately reverts Super Sonic back to base form. It'd also be neat if he could act out of it, potentially landing a homing attack to finish off an opponent that wasn't quite K.O.'d from his Final Smash.

The final smash idea does sound good, but how I would’ve done it would be Sonic transforms into Super Sonic, then dashes straight into the opponents and anyone hit will be launched into a cinematic cutscene where the opponent are eaten by the first titan in Sonic Frontiers. Then Super Sonic will beat the ever loving crap out of the titan and then delivers the final blow to the titan by ramming straight through the core, making the titan explode with the opponents inside it and after the explosion launching the opponent away when the cinematic ends.

Costumes: Alt 1. Base this off Big the Cat or Amy Rose Alt 2. Change this to have all Sonic's upgrades from the Adventure Games. Alt 3. Definitely give this Silver's gear Alt 4. This should take inspiration from the Werehog. Navy Blue fur with pale white skin, spiky cleates, and Chip's bracelet on his wrist. Alt 5. Give Sonic the pure gold boots he has in the upgrade from HD Unleashed, along with the knight's gauntlet from Black Knight. Alt 6.I don't really have any good ideas here besides- oh wait yeah Shadow can be included here. Alt 7. Just give Sonic his gear from Riders . EDIT: Okay, time to actually bring up my takes on moveset improvements here. I personally don't find as much wrong with his current moveset as most others, even with a lot of his moves reusing the ball form, so I'll only note the moves I'll change. Normals [Jab]: I'd just replace this with either his 5 punches or three kicks from Sonic the Fighters. [Up Tilt]: Sonic Updraft (Sonic Battle). [Forward Tilt]: Either the three kicks or combine this with the dash attack [Dash Attack]: Roll. Sonic just curls up into a ball that carries momentum, being stronger or weaker depending on how fast you were going before you started rolling. Throws [Down Throw]: Recovery Smash/Grand Slam (Sonic Frontiers). spin dashing the opponent off the ground to kick them diagonally down and forward, which will bounce the opponent if they catch a platform but spike them if they fly through the air. [Up Throw]: A basic regular Cyloop. [Forward Throw]: Loop Kick (Sonic Frontiers). Sonic flies around in a loop before hitting them with a heavy kick forward. [Back Throw]: I've got two ideas for this one. Either Wild Rush (three air dashes to go behind the enemy and hit them) or Phantom Rush (attacking from all sides with the final hit sending the enemy behind Sonic Smash Attacks [Down Smash]: [Up Smash]: Tornado (Sonic '06). It wouldn't have as much range as the version from the game, but it would have a decent windbox. Aerials [Down Air]: The Bounce Bracelet. Really precise to land but if you do not only will it spike but landing the bounce will make Sonic go slightly higher than where he started from (with the bounce going the same distance as his current dive kick). [Up Air]: Cyclone Kick. A circular spin hitting enemies on the X axis before ending with a kick straight up. [Forward Air]: Humming Top (Sonic Advance 2). A trick action that also acts as an attack, dragging the opponent along and having good KO Power on the final hit. [Back Air]: Sonic Eagle/Back Star (Sonic Battle/Advance 2). I like the idea of Sonic Eagle being his B-Air because Sonic has too many good F-Air and D-Air options, but to make it more unique I added the Back Star trick. It starts with the back star, which can have the trajectory of the jump be changed with directional inputs, and follows up with a vicious kick down that acts as a spike. Good for reversals and recovery, bad at actually hitting opponents behind you. [Neutral Air]: Insta-Shield (Sonic 3 & Knuckles). Basically how you described it in the video, but I would want it to lack a hurtbox on the active frames, and require very few active frames and low startup. This can be balanced with giving it just enough endlag to not be spammable, but it needs to both come out quick and not be active for long. Specials [Neutral B]: Homing Attack. My changes here would have the Homing attack be a chargeable move akin to Charge Shot or Aura Sphere, only starting if there's an opponent in the direction Sonic is facing and they're in a certain range (in matches with more than one opponent it's whoever's closest that meets the criteria). Once those conditions are met the target will have a homing reticle on them of a green triangle with a dot in the middle. Level 2 charge will be orange and look like the more traditional homing reticle, and Level 3 will be red and go back to the triangle, but with four red spikes surrounding it and a crosshair in the center. Sonic can store the charge at any time but if he does pressing B again will just make him do the attack. The dfferent levels of charge would make the Homing Attack move quicker and hit harder, with the maximum charge being a solid kill option at 80%. However, there would be a tight window in the level 1 charge where the reticle would flash white,, and if you attack then Sonic does a kick to send a gust of wind at the enemy first and follows up with a Rainbow Homing Attack. The RHA in basically a level 3 homing attack but with a rainbow streak behind it and it helps refill the boost gauge. Also all versions of the homing attack would have tricks when landed which will get more cool the longer it was charged for. [Down B]: Boost. I'm taking way more inspiration from his boost in the Wii/PS2 version of Unleashed (also known as UnWiished) here, and placing the boost on the less typically used move. I'd make it so that pressing A while boosting, or boosting while in ball form, makes Sonic boost in Ball form. He wouldn't have a hitbox when running in Boost (signified by it looking like the Colours boost, not covering his whole body), but would when boosting in Ball form. It also would not only lack the ability to cross up shields, but it would be the WORST move in the game to run up against a Shield. If you boost into someone who is shielding, not only does Sonic come to a dead stop, he even falls onto the ground and is unable to move or attack for a whole second. In Ball form this is also the case but at least it will push the opponent back and if you broke their shield you would cross them up. [Mechanic]: Boost Gauge. Three bars of boost (Sonic starting the match with only one) and using the Boost will use up one whole bar of boost. Can be refilled by doing taunts, landing comboes, Rainbow Homing Attacks, air-dodges, dodging on the ground, grabs/throws, and getting K.Os. It will actually drain however if the same input is spammed over and over again (spamming) or if Sonic doesn't interact with his opponent for 5 uninterrupted seconds. This should give players incentive to keep the pressure on. [Up-B]: For this either keep the Spring jump as is or if you want something more focused on Modern Sonic, give him Wild Rush (if you choose Phantom Rush for the Back Throw). Wild Rush would just function like Pikachu's Quick Attack, but with a few changes. First, Sonic can Wild Rush three times instead of two. Second, each of the dashes move half the distance of Quick Attack's. and finally, it wits a bit harder. Another option that could be used here is to either use the Rocket Wisp (hold down the B Button to charge it and increase distance, can move horizontally as you ascend) or the Cyan Laser Wisp (basically Pikachu's 64 Quick Attack) [Final Smash(es)]: I actually came up with three concepts, but preferably they would all be in so people don't get sick of seeing the same one over and over again. 1: Super Sonic uses the Cyloop on his opponents to trap them in golden chains in mid-air like the Wyvern fight, then kicks a huge ball of missiles at them. 2: Super Sonic Cyloops his opponents to be impaled from below on spikes while he cyloops a giant sword to swing down on them, like the Knight fight. 3: Super Sonic Cyloops his opponents into space for a cutscene where he flies through space to smack into them.

The only problem with this moveset is speed and boost on smaller stages like final destination he will literally end up flying off the stage.

11:54 For D-throw i think you can use the Quick Cyloop from Frontiers. The cyloop itself will deal damage and will spawn a boost pad (like some chests on Chaos / Ouranos Island) that launches the opponent forward at a low angle to tech chases, exactly like his actual d-throw but with a reference to his recent game (Maybe the boost pad can throw opponents that are near enough but only if they are grounded)
