Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel!
Today's Retro REMAKE is of an AT&T Commercial from 1984 with the iconic "Reach out and touch someone" jingle!
Actor Cliff Robertson was the face and voice of AT&T for many years. This remake is based on his AT&T commercials where he usually talked directly to the camera, as opposed to other AT&T commercials that followed a story line, like the Retro REMAKE I created last year: • CHEESY Retro Remake wi...
The "Reach out and touch someone" campaign was started under the Bell System name in the 1970s and was later carried over to the AT&T name, where it was used until the late 80s. This is one of my all-time favorite jingles.
Not to talk this video down, but it is a very simple one compared to what I normally do. I have not been feeling well for most of this week and I did not have the energy to put the amount of effort in that I normally do. I will be making it up to you however in the next week or two with a pretty major project. Can't wait to share it with you!

Especially if you find your having a difficult week or a busy week and are concerned about getting content out there but don't really have a lot of time to set up and prepare and do a lot of video work, these little shorts are fun and would be a good way to keep people engaged

I think that's a great idea. There are quite a few commercials from that time of the person on screen talking directly to the camera. Either an endorsement or testimonial. I'll have to find some to keep in my back pocket for the future.

Idea: make retro adverts of the things that didn't exist in the 90s. For eg, a tutorial style advert for tinder or Instagram 😂. I'm just trying to give you ideas to attract more audience and make stuff that can be shared via tik tok etc ..keep at it, you are doing well

i really don’t get how you’re sub 1000 followers!? have you tried repurposing any of this for Tiktok?? you could easily have a following of AT LEAST 20k

Thank you so much! Yes, I always make videos so that they can be posted on TikTok and RU-vid. However, a lot of subscribers here have asked for longer videos... so I am thinking of ways I can post longer videos here and still post on TikTok. That's kind of what I did with "Scarves." Posted multiple parts on TikTok and the whole video on here.
