Remarkable 2 Note Taking Experience Full Overview 

I would really like to see a review of the NOTE TAKING features of the Remarkable 2. Most reviewers I've seen so far keep focusing on its drawing capabilities. This is a note taking device, after all. How easy is it to take notes at high speed? How accurate is the OCR? How easily can the notes be synced across devices? Can the notes be exported to other note taking apps like Notion or Roam? Can you collaborate on the notes? How long do the marker nibs last?

One of the only reviewers who actually showed themselves using it. Thank you, this simple thing was too hard for the many narcissistic reviewers.

I think this thing has so much potential for fancy offices for intake paperwork. I'm a massage therapist, and my clients fill out paperwork. I could use this instead of paper, which adds to the upscale environment, and enables the ability to keep everything digital. It's lacking certain features that you'd need, but i think there's a massive market they're not considering

Super helpful video. Been thinking about getting one recently and doing a lot of research. Returned my iPad because I didn’t like the feel. Plus I want a more minimalist, distraction free way to take notes while reducing paper waste.

This would be great for creating comics or manga! Sketch out your panels and draw your inks on the go, then export to your home computer and import to Photoshop or your editor of choice to add colors, if desired.

If only this device was cheaper...I WANT ONE! I have the Boox Nova Pro2 and I absolutely LOVE IT! Patiently waiting for the Nova Pro2 color e-reader.

I got mine a couple days ago and I am absolutely in love with it. It is a bit pricey but it IS worth the cost. I don’t recommend buying the marker plus, because it performs the same job as the regular one so it’s not a complete necessity. But the tablet, oh my lord I am in love. It’s worth it people

I'm looking at it for writing on the subway. I like the idea of being able to erase mistakes or completely re-write a paragraph without wasting paper.

Your writing is too big. You have to test how it performs when u write actual note size.

Great review and very good product. The only lack for me is not having colors. Whenever remarkable 3 will be released it should have coloured eink because highlighting, undelying, taking notes... are necessarily with colours, to have a complete user experience and to become a highly used tech gadget

About the erase function: at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mvIJ9bQUmPo.html you suggest that the white marker is same to erase. Within a single layer you can indeed use it this way. Yet eraser and white ink are quite different: white lines can be selected and moved around using the selection tool. And with multiple layers the erase will 'punch a hole' and be transparent to underlying layes, while white is opaque and will obscure any underlying imagery. I love the device, owning the original, waiting for the Remarkable 2 now :-)

So this does connect to internet? Are you able to send documents to the device? Documents that you would need to review and sign, instead of printing them out and uploading ect. to send back.

How long does the surface roughness last ?

I love this. It was very helpful on different things the remarkable 2 can functions. I am glad I have one, I LOVE IT. I do have one small problem- turning pages seems to be hard to do. I am not sure I am doing it right, but I really have to swipe it about five times to get it to turn, so most of the time I just go to the 'waffle' to pick the page I want. ANy solutions for this?

Great demonstration...however im not a fan of this device, wouldnt recommend for those who want to place notes on drawings, edit drawings and save in a cropped image. It would be helpful if we could rename layers also so as to easily identify them for tuning off and on etc.

Hei there, I'm thinking about buying the reMarkable 2. I have one question. Can I add a Page in between the PDF file or can I only add a Page to the end of the Pdf file. can I also add a page to a PDF document, that I've dowloaded from the internet?

Whats the lag in the pen? It seems pretty fast. Is it 9ms like the spen and the apple pencil?

First, can I use the reMarkable as an e-reader? I use Scribd personally; how do I get content from there on the reMarkable? Thanks. Secondly, I get that you have to email it, and even that you have to choose a file type, but no option for actual text is disappointing. Basically, if I want editable text I ten have to select the pdf text, copy and paste it into a word, rtf, or such format, or directly into the email in order to access the editable text. That's time consuming. You know we only get so many clicks and taps with our fingers and before long you gotta trade them in for new ones, or do with out, so a more intuitive approach is gonna be well worth it. Meanwhile maybe we should start a "save our fingers!" campaign. No?

Does your marker plus rattle? Mine does while writing, I guess the eraser sensor is loose. BTW if people are interested in the device, mine came bent, so much so that the aluminum bezel isn't flush with the screen. Even though I sent pictures, customer support is giving me a hard time to get it exchanged, so far they refused. I'm probably gonna send it back with the 30 days return policy and buy Onyx.

My Remarkable 2 has few of the menu icons that are displayed in this tutorial. I think I got a dud. The pop out menus are slightly different as well. I cannot move an item into a file folder - very frustrating and the thing is brand new.

Mine amongst the instruments has also a Calligraphy Pen which is really nice, it follows the pressure and the movements precisely as the real life ink pen would.

I imagine a lot of calligraphy videos can be done with that .. drawings and stuff as well where you need minimal attention to fine details with the initial process. but it's kina better than Wacom and stuff. just thinking

These reviews are nice and all, but it would be great to see someone actually write a short text over a few lines since the device is in its current state nothing more than a note taking tablet.

In this video, when you “erased” text, you can still faintly see the text you’ve erased. Is that representative of the erase function or did you just not do it enough?

I have one ! The unit is great !drawing is great! But and a very big annoying but !!! It has a very annoying line across the page ! When I try to get a replacement ..... it is almost impossible to find out how to return or complain on their website. Then when I do I get a reply 3 days later saying I have complained incorrectly and need to register a different way with photographs .... ten days later still no reply !!! Not impressed !!!
