Cardinal Dolan look at our Holy Week liturgy and please tell pope that the chief priests and rabbis were involved with oppressing others. This is why our messiah was hung on the cross , corruption. @@jacksparrow1057 PS: When Paul wrote in his second letter to Timothy, chapter 3 verse 16, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.", there was no New Testament yet even though this letter became part of it when it was put together, Paul is talking about the Hebrew Scriptures/ the Law, the Prophets and the Writings. Paul also wrote, For whatever was written in earlier times [The Hebrew Scriptures] was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. @@jacksparrow1057 And I want to add that I don't follow the Word of God in a legalistic way regarding blessing Israel. While I have a very healthy fear of the Lord in the sense that I know He means business when He says something, the Holy Spirit has put in me a great love for and enjoyment of the Jewish people and I pray for and interact with them from that place. To know from the inside out and share in my very limited way the Lord's love for His people is in itself a tremendous blessing for me.

Why doesn't CARDINAL DOLAN speak at Orthodox Jewish groups ? The RCC has affinities for the liberal Reformed Jewish synagogues but not for Ultra Orthodox and other Conservative Jewish movements.
This is not an orthodox synagogue, it is a conservative one. The congregation is over 100 years old and has a significant footprint in NYC and worldwide. It reaches a lot of ears.

It’s a complicated world. My wife and I are members of PAS but my children were raised Catholic. Cardinal Dolan and Rabbi Cosgrove always challenge us as to what it means to be truly pious, truly humble, truly grateful, and truly have faith in G-D. Every hateful comment you read should be returned with the hand of God on your reply, and the prayer for a better world.

He really should be. He’s unwavering on the Catholic faith traditions yet he explains it all in a compassionate way that always comes to back to ALL people being accepted and having a pathway to God. He combines the clarity needed from a leader with the compassionate and human side.

All of us have done wrong and need to do penance. Perhaps it might be a good idea, as Scripture admonishes, to consider and then make amends for the plank in your own eye.
