Getting pretty over these remasters to be honest.... I think brutal machine may be a little bit more fulfilling because the nature of the songs ~but yeah. clip of rough mix from this day in the discord server right now. I think I need a day to edit the vocals and then just a final session doing the actual fine tuning of the mix and we should be good to go on this one. I'm honestly really enjoying these songs. There is also a folder in the discord of all my renders throughout the process of writing and mixing this record and the early versions of these songs sound soooo much better than the final mixes that got released... not sure what happened along that process... too bad I wasn't cameverydaying then, I mean I kind of was - there is videos on this channel of me writting this record - but I was going into this daily vlog style documentation type thing where I'm running my thoughts throughout the process. Today (may 25th) kind of a busy day for me and honestly I'm pretty tired. I need to catch up on sleep big time and I'm feeling it. Sleep is the ultimate healer and the ultimate for pretty much everything. When I'm behind on sleep I'm just a lot less zesty with life, lot less productive and I have a lessen strength over my energy and vision. So to those who think I don't sleep because I'm so active right now- it's the opposite, sleep is the key.
Aaron is home from EDC and I think next week we shall resume some normal programming and maybe even get a new vocal video going out next week. That's the plan anyways.
Looking forward to the release of the remaster for Katapillar big time... I think this one being more flush will really flush out the catalog - brutal machine getting a facelift is just a bonus in some ways, but I think will be necessary when it's complete as well... I gotta maintain the bigger picture, but also not let up on my grip currently on the pulse. This material is old to me and old to the world. the world is a face paced thing right now - I need to be in the zone and live with that zone as much as possible to be able to contribute the most to the world.
